Mountain view

Soak up the view during your stay.
The Treehouse at Wolf Springs is literally built in a large Oak tree on the west side of our 10 acre property, hidden amongst tall cedars for quiet seclusion. All the modern comforts are installed including Heat and Air, Wifi, and TV, but you're also right next to the Great Outdoors. Located less than a mile from US65 and 5 minutes to most of Harrison, enjoy serenity and calm while still being super accessible to the area.

The space
The Treehouse itself is approximately 1000 square foot of indoor space with a living area, bedroom and small bathroom. Cedar walls and plenty of windows make you feel like you're jumping from branch to branch while sipping coffee or tea after a night in the quiet of the timber. Outside is a full wrap around deck with plenty of room for lawn chairs and to sit and enjoy the shade. A spiral staircase also leads to the 'Top Deck' where you can sit in the canopy of the Oak tree in comfort and watch the deer will walk thru the meadow below. On the ground level is a hand built outdoor shower (fully enclosed with privacy walls) that stones lead to. A small meadow in the trees is also for guests where there's a firepit and a picnic table so you can relax outside. The main trail around the property passes by the treehouse and you can go for a short hike thru the timber to the north or thru the hayfield to the south.

Guest access
From the main road you'll enter the property thru dedicated gates and drive a few hundred yards thru a mowed path in the hayfield to get to the Treehouse. The trail is dirt and grass, but well maintained and passenger cars should have no issue getting in and out. Park in front of the Split rail fence and walk the short path to the Treehouse stairs.

Other things to note
The Treehouse is optimized for a couple or a family wanting a quiet getaway in the woods. The bed breakdown is 1 double, 2 bunk beds, and one convertible couch. You certainly can sleep 5 adults, but it's going to be cozy arrangements for everyone.

While there is heat and air conditioning in the treehouse living area, the shower is outdoors and plumbing is exposed to the elements. Therefore if the weather is below freezing there is a chance we might need to shut the water off for the cold hours. Generally we close the Treehouse in the winter and don't open for guests when the weather is forecast to be cold, but keep it in mind.

We have chickens, turkeys, and other livestock on the property. The roosters and toms will make a fair bit of noise first thing in the morning. Generally you won't hear them inside the Treehouse, but be prepared for a rooster crowing at daybreak :)

For 2026 - Availability is open starting Memorial Day and will close in November, unless the weather dictates late opening, or early closure. We were closed in 2025 for renovations and property construction, but back now with improvements. We look forward to hosting you!
