Welcome to one of VT’s most beautiful lakefront property and wedding venue located in the Champlain Islands! Relax in one of many ADK chairs while enjoying incredible sunsets over Lake Champlain and the ADK Mtns. The 1 BR suite shares no space with the main home and has its own entrance and bathroom. We do have a very strict NO PET policy. The islands are accessible by road from the VT side and either bridge or ferry from NY. Please read the full description about the rental prior to booking.

The space
Our 1 bedroom unit is attached to the main house, but is a completely separate unit with its own entrance, small kitchen, living/dining areas, and bathroom. There are no shared spaces with the main home. The home faces west and is set on 4 acres of direct lake access on beautiful Lake Champlain. The property is scattered with adirondack chairs to enjoy peaceful morning coffee and magnificent evening sunsets. We operate the historic barn that is located on the property as a wedding venue, but if this unit is available to rent, that means there are no events taking place during your stay and you will be the only guests staying on the property. There is a small dock and water access to launch your kayaks, paddle boards, etc. There is also a boat ramp less than a mile up the road, and we have plenty of space to park your boat. The only complaint we ever hear is that there is no sink in the bathroom, so please DO NOT book if this will be an issue. There is a large sink in the kitchen with a mirror inside the cabinet door. Also the living room has a small step up, and there are 3 stairs up to access the bathroom, so unfortunately not a great choice if stairs are an issue. It definitely is our little slice of heaven! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Guest access
Guests have full access to most of the property other than the main home, our deck, and our private hot tub. Access to these areas is not permitted, but there is plenty of space on our 4 acres to relax, unwind, enjoy the beautiful shores of Lake Champlain. There is a separate deck for guest use just outside the entrance. We have a strict NO PET POLICY, so please do not arrive with pets of any kind. While we love animals, we have multiple guests with pet allergies that return every year. Thanks for reading.
