From Sea View you do not have a view of the sea, but with a wide view of a green playground, including a playboat and observation tower with sandpit. You are (in peak season) not only, but share our large natural garden (3 ha!) with 10 other families. There is a lot of space for everyone and you can look up both the tranquility and the coziness. You can take one dog with you (keep it on a leash!), but walking and walking is only possible outside our grounds.

The space
The large tent (40m2) has a wooden floor and wooden wall panels. In the lighthouse (accessible from the inside) are refrigerator and four-burner gas set. A water tap is outside. Pots, pans and crockery are provided. The living area includes a bed/sofa, wood-burning stove, a large dining table and a playboat. The two bedrooms (each with 2 persons) are separated with a curtain. A fifth person can sleep on the bed in the living room. A simple shower cubicle (water heated by the sun) and toilet cubicle (flush with bucket of water) are located behind (so outside) the tent. Furthermore, you can use common 'normal' sanitary facilities. Parking next to the tent is not possible; there is a parking space about 50 meters away.

We live in the Thiérache, a beautiful and non-touristy region just across the Belgian border, in the foothills of the French Ardennes. The landscape is green and rolling, meadows with hedges alternate with forest. There are many watercourses and a confusion of country roads with small villages that often have a castle church (église fortifiée). From April to October, flea markets (brocantes) are organised on Sundays and public holidays. A little further away, but well worth a visit, are the cathedral in Laon and the Familistère (social palace) in Guise.
