Owners live on premises, but guests have their own entrance and unobstructed water views of Weather Watch Park across the street. Your own Villa with beach access, free parking and Continental Breakfast!
The space
This luxury apartment has marble floors, antique marble electric fireplace, a luxurious master bedroom w/ Queen bed, adjoining marble bathroom with Jacuzzi-style spa tub & dressing room. Wet bar, full-size refrigerator, coffee bar & eclectic style.
The space faces West to watch spectacular sunsets and is just a stone's throw away from the beach. There are golden chandeliers, original art and exciting and eclectic decor.

There's a small meal prep area and a coffee bar. We can't make you a full breakfast, but we'll leave you some cereal, fruit and other breakfast items to prepare, so you don't go hungry!
At the Villa, you'll enjoy a marvelous stone balcony overlooking Puget Sound and the Salish Sea, plus free parking! We supply binoculars because you never know when you will spot a harbor seal, sea otter, eagle or orca whale swimming by. Every day one can view the marine traffic, from sail boats and pleasure craft to giant ocean-going vessels heading to the Port of Tacoma and back to the Far East. From the balcony, one can view across the bay the port cities of Port Orchard and the Naval Shipyard of Bremerton, plus the islands of Vashon and Blake.
Stroll on the beach, pick up pretty stones and shells, watch the sunset, watch wildlife from your window and it's beautiful even if rainy as one can watch the clouds roll in. During certain times of the year, with storms and King Tides, watch the breakers from the safety of your Villa. In the summer, there will be scooters and bikes for rent, right outside the Villa. Further down the beach, rent a kayak or canoe. Enjoy crabbing, fishing and fresh seafood at the restaurants along the beach at Alki.
The Villa features gleaming marble floors, an amazing stone electric fireplace, and beautiful golden chandeliers and European light fixtures. The wine bar features granite countertops, stainless steel refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. If you love to cook, this may not be the place for you as we have limited cooking facilities (cooktop and microwave, but no oven.) Stir-frying, deep hot oil frying, baking is not possible here, but we do have a microwave, refrigerator, sink and dishwasher for light meal prep, making coffee, heating leftovers, etc.
There is also a luxurious Queen-sized bed with European linens, elegant decor, art and a flat-screen TV.
Spacious dressing room with double sinks and marble floors and plenty of room for all your clothing during your stay. Luxurious marble bathroom with porcelain sinks and deep Jacuzzi soaking tub.
We have our Airbnb professionally cleaned and they clean and disinfect between each guest. We strive to keep our home hypoallergenic and use organic and natural products, and we use essential oils to keep our home pest-free.

***No unregistered guests at any time. No visitors, no parties, no soirees, no shindigs, no raves, no dinner parties, no keggers. These are quiet luxury accommodations for one or two people. If you want to "show" the unit to friends, that's fine, but just let us know ahead of time.
*Our cleaning staff uses cleaners and essential oils (eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil, cinnamon, citrus, peppermint, pine, wintergreen) that are harmless to humans but poisonous to animals, so you MUST give us proper notice so we can make "reasonable accommodation" and your service animal is not harmed. In addition, our staff may employ pest control methods that are harmless to humans but might harm animals.*
We advise at least 30 days notice before arriving to deep-clean and eliminate any essential oils and other products that may harm animals.
We have rules in place to make sure the villa is a clean and safe place and know you’ll love staying here!
Enjoy the amazing La Rustica Italian restaurant right across the street. Visit LaRusticaSeattle on the web for information, menu and reservations. Everything is delicious and you can order a $16 pizza to go or dine in style with a 3-course meal and wine. Either way, you'll love it.
If you are planning on arriving after-hours or just want some food waiting for you, Guests may order a Charcuterie box from Charcuterie by Annalise (please order 2 days before your trip, $75 or $65 for vegetarian option). You can see Annalise's website by search "CharcuterieByAnnalise" or email charcuteriebyannalise at g-mail. She will have a delicious charcuterie box or fruit, cheese or meat platter waiting for you in the refrigerator when you arrive.
Guests may also order a single or a couples massage, either on-site or across the street at Alki View Massage. They also offer several spa packages and skin care. Please contact AlkiMassage for details (Alki Massage Seattle).
There is one main mini-split in your unit and it keeps the unit warm in winter and cool in summer. We try to keep it comfortable for most people but just in case you are hot or cold, each unit has its own individual oil heater and fan.
Also, to note, there are security cameras and lights on the exterior of the building (5 cameras facing OUT) for guests' safety and security. The lights come on at dusk and turn off at dawn, and the porch lights are not to be turned off. We ask that everyone makes a special point to keep exterior doors locked at all times.

We love to host all kinds of visitors and we welcome you to the Villa! We are a married couple with grown children who are adults and live elsewhere and we are very quiet and spend our time reading, gardening and making art. We love Seattle and love sharing all the beautiful scenery and fun things to do here and we make a point of keeping up with the good restaurants and events, so let us know if there's something you like and we'll send you our suggestions for visiting.
*Check-in time is 5pm (sometimes sooner if the cleaners finish early) and check-out time is 10am. Late check-out available for $25 an hour w/24 hours notice and if no on else is checking in that same day. Please inquire.*
For guests privacy, we do not permit photo shoots, film crews, podcasts, live blogging/vlogging or OnlyFans. You know who you are, don't do that here.
As mentioned earlier, due to security and safety concerns, we ask that this be an adults-only home. We are also a human-only home, and we ask that no animals of any kind be allowed on the premises.

If you like to partay and get down with your bad self, this is not the place for you. While we have never had any problems, we do have a whole-house security system and an exterior lighting and camera system for everyone's safety and security. PM us for more details.

Note: this property is in the city, on a main street, across from a restaurant and the beach. You will hear city noises, restaurant noises and beach noises. The restaurant is open from 5pm to 9pm and during that time, people will be dining and coming-and-going. The beach is open at 5am to 11pm.

**For animal owners, pet owners and parents of fur babies:
We cannot allow animals due to severe allergies on the part of a family member which causes us to have to shut down our guesthouse and perform extensive deep cleaning to return it to an allergen-free environment. In addition, we use cleaning and pest control methods that are harmless to humans but may be dangerous to animals. We respectfully request guests with animals seek lodging in an animal friendly listing for this reason. We understand we are required by law to make reasonable accommodation, but we cannot make “reasonable accommodation” unless we are aware of your request, so you need to tell us at least 30 days in advance if you have a service animal so we have enough time to deep clean since essential oils may leave a faint residue that can harm animals.. If you do not give us this opportunity, you are violating ADA regulations.

Doctors note must have a start and stop date and indicate the specific animal (type, sex, breed and name). Again, 30 days notice is recommended for your animals safety.
We have some rules so that both your stay and that of our guests after you will be enjoyable and relaxing. If you have any questions, please ask!
•Your Service Animal may not be left unattended at any time. Do not leave the animal in our apartment by itself. If it's a service animal, it must be with you at all times.
•Your Service Animal must have a collar or harness with identifying information attached. (Please note that all cats and dogs must be licensed in the City of Seattle.)
•If your Service Animal is a dog, please provide an advance copy of your Service Dog's rabies vaccine (current thru your stay).
•Your Service Animal must be on a leash or in a cage at all times.
•Your Service Animal must be housebroken, non-aggressive, not destructive, and not display repeated, unprovoked noise.
•We can ask you to remove your Service Animal and/or leave for excessive barking, aggressive or damaging behavior or obvious lack of sanitation.
•Please walk your Service Animal away from the house, away from our property, for bathroom needs. Indoor piddle pads are not allowed.
•Please clean up defecations immediately. Dispose in the toilet or somewhere AWAY from our property. Note that there are fines in the City of Seattle for off-leash dogs and not picking up dog feces.
•Please keep your Service Animal off the furniture and counters unless it is specifically needed for your disability. If you insist on having your Service Animal on our furniture or countertops, please bring your own bedding, sheets, towels or blankets for the animal to lay on.
-Please supply booties, socks or indoor animal shoes to keep our Villa clean. Please consider an animal diaper to keep our floors and furniture free from feces.

Guest access
Guests have access to the upper penthouse, side porch seating area, and the upper balcony. Your home is your castle! While we live elsewhere on the premises, you will have access to the entire penthouse apartment, with a separate entrance. This is like living on the Italian Riviera but on the shores of Puget Sound and the Salish Sea.
*Registered overnight guests only permitted on property*
Other things to note
Free parking on the street in front of our house, on the side or in front of our garage. Do not block sidewalk.
Exterior cameras monitor all doors and entry points for your security.
No parties of any kind. Quiet hours between 10pm-10am every day.
Any cleaning fee charged includes linens, sheets and towels but we ask you to clean the kitchen if you prepare meals.
No barbecue on the premises, however there are several parks nearby that allow beach fires and that have permanent barbecue stations. Locations will be noted in “Welcome Book”. We have picnic supplies for your needs, please inquire!
