Sunset Cottage is only 15 feet from Tupper Lake with a sandy spot for launching canoes/kayaks and a large dock where you can moor your powerboat if you bring one. Dock seating and swimming with a dog friendly stair. Fire pit with firewood on the lawn with Adirondack chairs for your use. Two, kayaks come with the rental. Newly renovated interior with beautiful Adirondack decor.
The space
Custom woodwork and hand-built furniture from local artists throughout the cabin. Adirondack-themed mosaic tile in the kitchen. Working fireplace, new kitchen appliances and Keurig with complimentary pods.
Sunset Cottage has a Wi-Fi hotspot. An Echo Dot with Alexa lets you stream music. A portable, waterproof, Bluetooth speakeris supplied that can be taken out on the deck or the dock. The cottage has a wall-mounted Samsung Smart TV, so bring your NETFLIX, Hulu, etc. account information.
The new kitchen has heated floors, a camp-sized refrigerator, 4 burner electric range/oven, microwave, toaster, and a Keurig coffee maker & K-pods. Kitchen is outfitted with stainless cookware, utensils, dishes, coffee mugs, drinking glasses and silverware for four.
Propane BBQ grill on the large deck at the edge of the lake - we supply the propane. Fire.wood is also supplied for the fire-pit.
The large floating dock is shared with the property owner and has Adirondack chairs and an outdoor couch. It is a great place to unwind and relax. There is deep water off the front side of the dock for swimming with dog-friendly stair/ladder. There is space for guests to moor their own boat during their stay.
Vacationers use village-connected water supply for drinking and showering. The kitchen sink has a separate tap for reverse-osmosis filtered water for drinking and cooking.
The new bathroom has tiled, heated-floors, a walk-in shower with rainfall shower head
Guest access
There is a Level 2 car charging receptacle (NEMA 50R) suitable for all EV's except Tesla.
