The space
Rustic elegance: you'll enjoy the spacious formal living room with vaulted cross beam ceilings, stone fireplace, with mountain and lake views. The living room is open to the formal dining room with seating for up to 10 and maybe 12. A pass through from the kitchen with warming trays will enable you to linger over your meal with family and friends.

There is a large well-equipped kitchen and sunny breakfast room with stunning mountain views on 3 sides.

There are 2 uniquely decorated romantic bedrooms downstairs, both with en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom is huge with views to the large center courtyard. The 2nd bedroom is smaller but equally luxurious and romantic.

Upstairs there is 3rd huge vaulted ceiling bedroom with 2 sleeping areas divided by full length curtains areas with 2 twin trundle beds each that convert to 2 king beds. This room also has a desk and sitting area, so space for children or adults to relax, work, or play games. There is an adjacent bathroom common to the re reation space too, with a large shower.

The recreation area includes a home theater area pool table with ping pong conversion top, table shuffleboard and magnetic dart board. There is also a minibar area with popcorn machine with complimentary popcorn.

The TV/theater area has 2 sofa beds that can sleep 2 each; however, the bathroom would be shared with the other 4 twin bed bedroom. There is an extra half bath just down the stairs from this area too.

For adults only, adjacent to the recreation room, behind a locking screen, is a home gym with weight machine, folding exercise bike, various dumbells, kettle bells, and yoga mats, etc.

In this same space there is a serenity area with 2 vibrating lounge chairs, and herbal tea bar. Coming soon will be a Moroccan tea lounge area.

Outside you can enjoy a spacious deck on one side with dining tBle for 4, and a large center courtyard with propane firepit and plenty of lounge space. Steps down from the courtyard is a 4 person hot tub, also easily reachable from the master bedroom's 2 French doors.

In the summer there is a 30 foot pool with plenty of deck space for lounging. This area will be closed in the fall to late spring.

There are stunning, serene mountain views from nearly every room and outdoor area.

Other things to note
Outside activities must be restricted after 10 pm to not disturb the quiet neighborhood. No parties permitted.

Note, this is a wilderness area so there are critters outside and occasionally small critters make there way inside although we do our best to inhibit this.

Neighborhood highlights

The villa is surrounded by dramatic views of the arid southern Sierra Nevada and Lake Isabella. There are nearby houses but the area is sparcely populated affording a respite from the urban frenzy.

Boating and fishing on the lake, summer river rafting and natural hotsprings are highlights of local activities. Local sites include a ghost town used as backdrop for movies.

In the winter it often snows and there is a ski area, Alta Sierra 45 min away.

There is a small local grocery and Mexican restaurant with a number of good vegetarian options. Close is also a large grocery, pharmacy, and other stores, a few casual restaurants and various fast food places.

Bring your mountain bike if you'd like to bike in the adjacent off road spaces.

The villa is located at the top of a quiet residential neighborhood. Outside activities and noise at the villa need to be restricted after 10 pm as noise easily projects over the the other homes.
