Welcome to Addison Ridge Cottage! Enjoy peace and seclusion on 36 private acres in Bedford County, PA. Relax by the fire pit under crystal-clear starlit skies, explore nearby state game lands, and unwind in a cozy rustic cabin surrounded by nature. Perfect for a quiet getaway. Dogs welcome (max 2)!

The space
Escape to our spacious, rustic cabin set in the center of 36 private acres with no nearby neighbors. Built in the 1930s and expanded over time, the cabin blends vintage charm with family-friendly comfort. We’re about 15 minutes from the nearest store/restaurant and recommend 4WD in winter.

We are dog-friendly (up to two dogs unless approved). There is a small, fenced dog area, but most of the property is unfenced. Due to allergies, no cats.

🔥 Wood Stove Notice

The main living area is heated by a large wood stove. We’ve included detailed instructions and firewood, but if this makes you uncomfortable, this may not be the right fit.

Cozy living room with two full couches, a wood stove, and a 50” TV.
Dining room seats 8, plus kitchen seating for 6–8.

Fully equipped galley kitchen with full range, microwave, ice maker, coffee maker, small fridge, cookware, and plenty of counter space. Opens to a covered porch.

🌡️ Heating & Cooling

Heat: Wood stove + baseboard heaters

Cooling: Six window A/C units + ceiling fans
(No central HVAC)

🌲 Outdoors

Enjoy private mountain views, a hot tub, fire pit, charcoal grill, and plenty of seating.
Trails lead to PA State Game Land #49, and wildlife sightings are common (bear, deer, turkey, etc.). Two tree stands are on-site. Please respect the purple-blazed property line.

Cell service is limited. Please connect to our Starlink Wi-Fi (no password needed). Wi-Fi calling may be required.

This is a rural property — occasional bugs or wildlife encounters are possible.

Other things to note
Hunting does take place on the adjacent state game lands. Guests should take note of hunting seasons and abide by surrounding properties. Property lines are marked by purple blazes and no trespassing signs. The game land it also posted on the edge of the property.
