The space
Enjoy staying on a stunningly beautiful large private horse farm set in the middle of endless hiking and outdoor recreation in historic Fort Valley in the middle of the George Washington National Forest.
Enjoy walking on the winding gravel roads through the farm, hike on 50 acres of rolling meadows with water features including Little Passage Creek,
and a large reservoir that is home to fish and many species of birds including Blue herons.
Bring your fishing pole if you would like to fish in the reservoir.

Enjoy your own private trail head into the largest National Forest on the East coast. You will have the trails all to yourself and you will experience the natural beauty of the forest from a completely new perspective! No need to drive anywhere to hike surrounded by other people- you can walk out the cabin door and up the hill to Glenmont Farm’s own private access to the George Washington National Forest.

Glenmont Cabin dates back to the 1700’s and has been modernized with all the conveniences of the 21st century.
Fast WiFi and enhanced cell phone service keep you connected while you relax in our well appointed cabin.
The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cutlery, cookware, spices, sugar, creamer coffee maker, coffee, teas, a tea kettle, toaster, etc.
The charming upstairs bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed. There is also an oversized chair which folds out into a twin bed with a memory foam mattress.
On the main floor there are two couches: a leather loveseat and a brand new sofa that folds down into a twin size bed.
A cozy corner is home to a work station desk and chair. High speed internet is available throughout the cabin as is enhanced cell phone signal.

Outside there is a deck with two Adirondack chairs and a 9’ market umbrella. There is also a fire pit with four chairs. We provide wood for your fires so you don’t have to worry about hauling it in.
There is a cute chicken coop with our four hens set further back on the property and you are welcome to collect their eggs each morning for your breakfast! Children seem to really enjoy this activity and on request they can feed the chickens as well.
