Peace and quiet

This home is in a quiet area.
This tiny house has an 8 ft. ceiling. We have stocked the cupboards with baking, spices, and many plates, bowls, cups, and glasses. If you like to cook or bake, the Papablue is for you. It has a comfortable reading chair, or put your feet up and watch a movie. It only has one full size bed with a vintage bed frame. The Papablue is our only rental with a hardline telephone. My father lived in this house for a month each year. He prayed and read books everyday. There is a spiritual feeling.

The space
Our property, the smell, animals, and feeling is a farm. We have fresh eggs (chicken and quail) and fresh goat milk. Our outside decor is almost all repurposed materials. We designed the Papablue House to be cozy. This has an electric kitchen (oven and 3 burners). It is hot in HSB, so our unique outdoor shower was designed for that reason. It has a 8 gallon water heater (5 min. shower). In the winter you walk 10 ft. To use our luxuriously hot 50 gallon propane water heater, or save money and use our laundry room.

Guest access
If you need a second bed, you must request it, and we can stage a roll away cot with a memory foam mattress inside (space is limited) The Papablue House is directly in front of the Ole RV Park laundry room, where your 50-gallon propane shower awaits you in the winter. Starting in the Spring, your shower is one of a kind on the outside deck that is unique and fun. It is fresh air relaxing in the hot summer.

Other things to note
We do not allow more than one dog. ($20 fee) No cats are allowed. Do not leave your door open, you are inviting chickens, goats, and bugs. in the winter your indoor heated shower room is 10 ft. away. It is in our Park laundry room that is shared by other guests.

Neighborhood highlights

The Ole RV Park is a community. We have 11 rentals, so people are arriving/departing and some living long-term on the 2.3 acre property. You will meet our Alpine goat, "Kate Brown," who is milked at 9 AM and 530 pm every day, and her best goat friend Feebee. You can try milking. Just ask. The milk is kept fresh and cold in a brown mini frig. Free-range chickens and roosters will follow you. We have 26 new chickens that we hatched from an egg. They live in a coop at the rear of the property with our Silkie roosters (Ebony and Ivory). Our 4 horses are Orion, MamaLady, Dutchess, and Red Cloud. Our donkey is named Jenny. By request, we give basic horse instruction. We have domestic quail in raised coops that we hatched from an egg. Lastly, we have an incredible Boxer named Rooster Cogburn who is trained on command, and he adores kids and people of all ages. Check out our second 2 acre property nearby on Lucky Lane. We have 2 tiny houses there on airbnb; the Cube and the Hardy House (sleeps 7!).
