An ideal home base in the heart of Long Creek, SC. Close to put-in and take-outs for the Wild & Scenic Chattooga River. Minutes from waterfalls, fishing, hiking & mountain biking trails. The house is 1-mile from Wildwater Rafting, Chattooga Belle Farm and Distillery. The location is convenient when you're in town for the river, weddings & events.

The space
This 1969 brick ranch home has been completely renovated. The interior is bright with sunny touches throughout.

Four bedrooms and a bonus room with futon sofa. Well-stocked kitchen, outdoor spaces and comfortable furnishings. Fast WiFi--which is not always the case in this rural area! The house is kid-friendly and ready to welcome groups and families.

Main floor. The house is on 4 acres and has plenty of room for parking multiple cars or travel trailers.

Other things to note
There is camper on the property. It is parked in the lower driveway near the basement entrance. The camper is facing away from the house and should not impede the use of the home. It may be occupied by friends, family or interns working for our company. We will ensure the occupant(s) are quiet and respectful of your space.

Long Creek, SC is surrounded by Sumter National Forest and borders the Wild & Scenic Chattooga River. The rural landscape might feel like you're "in the middle of no where," but the area is sought after for hiking trails, waterfall excursions, the spring and summer river season, and fall fruit orchards.

Chattooga Belle Farm is worth visiting for the spectacular view of the rolling countryside and Blue Ridge Mountains. It's popular for weddings and events and has a restaurant, Belle's Bistro, Farm Store and on-site Distillery.

Moresun Bunkhouse is within walking distance to the Long Creek Community Park. There is a basketball court, gaga ball, walking track and covered picnic shelter. The Long Creek Community Center building is available to rent for mid-size gatherings.

The Long Creek General Store is 1/2 mile away. They have groceries, beer, wine, a lunch counter, and gas.

Long Creek has four restaurants: Humble Pie (pizza), Belle's Bistro (lunch and brunch on weekends), Brasstown BBQ (dinner Friday & Saturday CASH ONLY) and Willie's Tavern (lunch & dinner). More restaurants are within a 20-30 minute drive.

The home is 12 miles from The Ridge at Summit Farms in Westminster, SC, and is one of the closest lodging options for guests attending weddings and parties at this event venue.
