Welcome to Mt. Baker Hygge Hus (pronounced hue-guh hoos), where cozy design meets curated solitude.

Perched on stilts at the edge of Mt. Baker National Forest, this architect-designed cabin is made for forest escapes, romantic weekends, and slow mornings with coffee and birdsong. Inside, you'll find a mid-century fireplace, double rain showers, and lighting so soft it basically whispers.

Step outside to one of two cedar decks or sink into the 4-foot-deep cedar hot tub with forest views. Whether you're watching the fog roll in or snow falling quietly through the trees, it's a space built for presence - and absence (of stress, screens, meetings, all of it).

Just 2.5 hours from Seattle and minutes from trails, skiing, and small-town gems like Wake 'n Bakery and Nooksack Falls. Secluded but not remote, luxurious but never fussy - Hygge Hus is your invitation to come home to yourself.

1. Guest limit: To keep things cozy (and compliant), we can welcome up to 6 guests max on the property at any time.

2. Pet-free zone: We love animals, but due to family allergies, Hygge Hus is a pet-free space. Thanks for understanding!

3. Wifi speed: You might not break speed records, but our wifi is solid for streaming a movie or checking in with loved ones.

4. Limited Cell service: Cell reception in Glacier is minimal, at best. Wifi will be your best way to stay connected during your stay.

5. Parking: Our driveway fits 2 cars comfortably. Also has a heads up, our HOA is a bit of a stickler, so please use the parking pad only and skip street parking to avoid any fines.

6. Not Accessibility Friendly: Hygge Hus is nestled up a short flight of stairs, about two dozen, to reach the front door. Just a heads-up for those who need accessibility-friendly entrances.

7. Neighborhood vibes: We’re in Snowline, a peaceful gated community in Glacier. The cabin sits on a corner lot, backed by forest on two sides, with just one neighbor next door.

8. Power outages: Nature can be unpredictable, but our automatic generator will kick in if the power ever goes out.

9. Quiet retreat, not an event space: While we love a good celebration, we’re not set up for events or gatherings beyond your booked guests. Thanks for helping us keep things peaceful and neighbor-friendly.
