The Blanco Cabin at Dragonfly Trails is flagship of four romantic cabins nestled among wooded trails on 5 acres. Sleep late; enjoy coffee in the hot tub with a view of red-breasted robins, cedar waxwings & painted buntings as they greet the day; explore for arrowheads, painted rocks, nests or walking sticks.
We are in a designated dark-sky community, so stargazing is fantastic at Dragonfly Trails.
10mi. to Wimberley Square, 20mi. to Dripping Springs, 40 mi to Austin.
The space
The Blanco is a cozy mix of eclectic colors and cabin romance. Situated at the edge of the bluff, the westward facing deck offers a stellar sunset view and a soft morning sunrise.
Recently upgraded with new textile artwork and special touches, this tiny cabin holds big space to breathe and reconnect.
We are close to many Hill Country destinations including Jacob’s Well, Wimberley Square, Blue Hole, Fischer Dancehall and The Salt Lick, as well as local wineries, distilleries and several wedding venues.
We are an eco-friendly, 100% rainwater collection property with water-efficient toilets, showers and faucets.
In almost every part of the world the dragonfly symbolizes change, transformation, adaptability and self realization. Inspired by our namesake and logo, we created our spaces for new beginnings, renewal and reflections.

Four tiny cabins sit on our five wooded acres, so you may have a chance to greet other guests along the trails or under the stars during your stay at Dragonfly.
As for the property itself, we are at the back of a rural wooded neighborhood and our property backs up to a dry riverbed. You are more likely to spot a red breasted robin or a white tail deer than one of our neighbors.

I'm an undermedicated, over-caffinated Gen X gal exploring for whatever i can find. I love public art and cooking. My favorite weather is Keystone in July. For me, the only drawback to a beach is seaweed or people or both. I believe life is about the journey unless the journey has a layover at Heathrow or Frankfurt, because that's a whole other story. With perspective, I now think that in some ways John Lennon was right; but in most ways - he was an ego driven jerk. But Paul? ugh.
