Savor the Southwest when you stay at this Spanish Eclectic style casita centrally located in the Tucson's Palo Verde neighborhood. One mile east of the University of Arizona, this charming abode rests on a fenced-in 1/4 acre lot with views of the Catalina Mountains, offering comfort and convenience for both pleasure and business travelers. Whole Foods, Coffee Times and the Loft Cinema are all within a 5-minute walk and El Con Mall is a 5-minute drive from the house.

The space
KITCHENETTE
The functional kitchenette is stocked with all of the essentials, making it convenient for guests to make a delicious meal or simply brew a pot of coffee. There's a small fridge, microwave, toaster oven, 12-cup coffee maker and electric kettle. There is NO STOVE, however we recently added a GAS GRILL on the patio of the property for shared use.The casita is also fully equipped with salt, pepper, seasonings, mixing bowls, measuring cups, sharp knives, drinking glasses, wine and cocktail glasses, can opener, wine opener, meat thermometer, pizza cutter, plates, bowls and coffee mugs, dish towels and serving utensils. NOTE THAT WE DO NOT PROVIDE POTS AND PANS AS THERE ARE NO COOKING SURFACES. We also offer ground coffee, bottled water and a variety of teas, as well as sweeteners. We hope to meet our guest's kitchen needs during most short-term stays.

DINING
The home comes with a dining table that seats 2 in front of a large window.

BATHROOM
Enjoy our newly renovated bathroom with large, low entry
walk-in stand up shower. It includes a rain shower head as well as a 4-function hand shower. The shower is hot and has great water pressure. Extra shower shelf provides a space to stow your own bath products and safely place a razor if you bring one. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, plush bath towels and new hair dryer.

BED
Queen-size TEMPUR-pedic bed. As you settle in, it starts working, adapting to your weight, shape, and temperature for a truly personalized, supportive sleep. 400-Thread count, 100% cotton sheets and hypoallergenic duvet insert and anti-microbial pillow protectors, the mattress's total encasement system ensures dust mites and other allergen irritants are kept at bay with a triple-seal closure, heavy-duty seams, and interior barrier flap.

OTHER
2 compact hanging rods, wall hooks, suitcase rack, iron and ironing board will ensure that you're organized for business or adventure. Blackout curtains and air-conditioner/heater bring you simple comfort and a great night's sleep. A large chair with wide arms and ottoman provide a great space to sit back and relax while gazing out the large window.

ENTERTAINMENT
The casita comes with an internet-ready Fire TV loaded with Hulu for live television viewing as well as the availability to download any favorite apps using your personal account information. We also offer wireless high-speed internet. The dining room table can make a comfortable desk if work calls or if you want to spread the hiking map out for a better view.

PORCH
Take in the eastern sunrise while sipping your morning coffee on your own dedicated covered porch or perhaps the warm Tucson sunset in the large outdoor space which features a community picnic table shaded by a large Brazilian pepper tree. Impressive views of the Catalina Mountains await you here.

OUTDOORS
-The home is situated on a 1/4 acre lot lined with pathways to the picnic table or a bench. Or bring a chair to a cozy corner. Enjoy the mature Mexican Fence Posts cactus, Euphorbias, Brazilian Pepper Tree and palm trees on site. We’ve added a BBQ gas grill as well as Horsehoes and Lawn Darts for fun activities.
