Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
This is our old home place on the farm were I was raised here with my grand parents. It was remodeled in 2006 with lots of love and holds a special place in our lives. A place to come and relax by the creek. Sit on the porch and rock in the evenings. Fire Pit available by advanced request down by the creek. We furnish the wood and build the fires. we are still farming so you may see tractors, chickens, turkeys or other animals.
This is not a party place.

North Carolina road 226A up to our cabin is open. However 226A on up the mountain is limited and under repair from storm damage..

Located on NC 226 A in the Turkey Cove community and close to a lot of the scenic area around Little Switzerland and the Blue Ridge Parkway .
10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway at Little Switzerland NC.(parts are closed)
Lots of quite space, by the creek. This is not a party place.

Trout Fishing is only a short walk (1/4 mile) away. We have trout in the creek on our property but those are reserved for our grandkids please.

Neighborhood highlights

Little Switzerland has some of the finest seasonal dinning in the area with small shops and 2 cafes. The views are indescribable, beautiful. We have lots of walking trails on the property for short hikes. The area provides other hiking possibilities.
The small towns of Marion and Spruce Pine NC are only a 15 minute ride

*USFS , Woodlawn Access Area is a 5 minute drive, Mountain Bike Trails, Mountain to the Sea Trail, Tom's Creek Falls Trail and Fitness Trial Access

Altapass Apple Orchard is a must see along to Blue Ridge Parkway just south of the 226 /Parkway Intersection. Live mountain Music on the weekends
