Rancho Poco a Poco is nestled comfortably within a private garden oasis of over an acre of land. The property holds two separate dwellings carefully designed with the concept of traditional Mexican hacienda meets contemporary craftsmen to create a safe harbor of tranquility in the middle of the tropical jungle; yet is situated only minutes away from the famous surf break and beaches of the bohemian village of Sayulita and the bustling good times of local restaurants, bars, and shopping mercados.

The space
The original Hacienda transports you back in time with the traditional red clay roof tiles over a long shaded veranda with exposed wooden beams as seen in the days of old colonial Mexico. The covered outdoor kitchen is fully equipped for group meal preparations or optional chef-prepared dinners on-site which will be shared at the antique wooden communal dining table under the veranda equipped with numerous ceiling fans. The open-air living space adjacent to the dining area offers plenty of comfortable seating to allow time to enjoy the ambiance of the garden views while indulging in conversation and sipping specialty tequilas and mezcals as sampled by ¨catadores¨ or expert tasters as requested.

The bedrooms of the Hacienda consist of four large and spacious rooms each with its own separate entry and private bathroom. The first bedroom has two individual beds that can easily convert into a king-size bed as needed. Adjacent to this first bedroom is another bright and open sleeping space that contains a bunk bed with both a double and twin size mattress where a set of french glass doors open up to fresh air and a walkway past a garden of colorful bougainvilleas and a seasonal flowing creek where the occasional donkey may walk by. The brightly lit and ventilated bathroom is decorated with custom-designed concrete tiles from a family-owned business in Guadalajara, Jalisco that dates back to 1905.

The remaining three bedrooms are all large and spacious with a similar set up of two individual beds per room that easily convert to king-size beds if desired. Each room is complemented by a unique perspective of the local flora and fauna with custom-designed abstract art wall murals. The collection of bedding, plants, and artwork as collected across Mexico combine together to create a distinctive feel that you won't find anywhere else. The bathrooms have ample space and are bright and airy; each complimented with cheerful Mexican tilework and windows that open to the fresh air and passing arroyo. Each bedroom is fully accommodated with air conditioning, black-out blinds, and wi-fi access, and all are situated to look out onto the open garden space from the large windows providing a cozy and comfortable space to rest, relax and rejuvenate.

Next to the water fountain which plays background musical subtleties of cascading water. There is a treatment room set up to accommodate massage and a variety of health and healing modalities as brought to you by highly skilled professionals of the Sayulita community as requested.

A beautiful experience awaits you at Rancho Poco a Poco, where little by little, you relax into the slow pace of life and enjoy the beauty of the natural elements that surround you. We are more than happy to help you experience an adventure like never before including the sacred ceremony of a shaman led temazcal or a ¨sweatlodge¨ as they are known in the United States, help organize and incorporate guided tours of the plethora of amazing hikes and natural treasures that surround the vicinity, connect you with fishing and whale watching tours and more. Please feel free to reach out with any questions and we look forward to helping you make this vacation an amazing experience not to be forgotten.

Meet your hosts

My work: Pacifico Property Group, Sayulita Real Estate
Speaks English and Spanish
We are a family of four who began traveling to Sayulita nearly 20 years ago. We all fell in love with Mexico, the vibrant colors, the delicious food that captivates your senses both taste and smell, the stunning beauty of Mexican culture and it's offerings and so much more have resulted in our family being permanent residents of Mexico. Lucas runs a real estate company named Pacifico Property and enjoys fishing, surfing and creating meaningful connections. Amy runs an event/retreat space out of Rancho Poco a Poco, a place of zen and healing. She loves to explore spirituality and bring light into the world. Caleb recently joined the family by moving to Mexico and is helping with all of the family projects. He aims to produce high-quality travel content showing the beautiful intricacies of the world. Hazel the youngest in our family is living a life of immersion and will undoubtedly speak Spanish better than any of us. She is an avid horseback rider and has developed a forever bond with her horse Havana. We live, love and enjoy our time here. If you have any questions we are more than happy to share our knowledge of the area with you! We look forward to having you as our guest(s). ¡Viva Mexico!
