CHEERFUL & COZY, this 1940’s downtown cottage is “a 5 minute drive” from anywhere in Aiken! 1 bedroom has king bed, the other a queen.

Original heart pine floors and charming equestrian accents reflect the uniqueness of one of the South's Best Small Towns.

Every season is pleasant here — enjoy coffee and a book on the shady Garden Porch under the fan in the summer or cuddle up on the couch by the cozy electric fireplace when it’s chilly.

This house has everything you need for comfortable daily living: laundry, dishwasher, well equipped kitchen, reliable fast fiber WiFi, and Roku TVs, two comfortable beds, robust hot water and HVAC systems. Fully enclosed large shady backyard for your dogs (2 dogs max welcome!).

Safe and quiet neighborhood is an easy one mile walk, bike ride, or drive to Laurens Street shopping and restaurants.

Towels and linens are provided, as is a starter starter supply of toiletries, paper products, and cleaning supplies.

Heating and cooling systems and hot water are updated and work very well. High speed fiber WIFI is robust and works well for Zoom meetings and streaming services, etc.

The neighborhood is safe, clean, peaceful, and beautiful. Please be mindful of your noise in consideration of our lovely neighbors.

No smoking of any kind--including vaping--on this property. Additional fee may be charged if we have to clean up smoking-related damage, waste, or smells inside or outside.

The number of guests must not exceed the number included on the reservation. Absolutely no parties per Airbnb policy.

PARENTS: please be advised this property is not childproofed, and may not be suitable for young children or babies. All children should be closely supervised.

GUESTS WITH DOGS: Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no cats. Dogs MUST be included in your reservation. Please cover furniture and do not leave pets unattended in the home if not crated. Do not leave your dog outside unsupervised, and do not allow digging or excessive barking. Obey local leash laws, and pick up after your pet in the yard and neighborhood. You may be charged for pet-related damages or if extra clean-up is required on check-out.

The small-town friendliness, history, and beauty of the area worked its magic on me--I married a local and now we enjoy welcoming others to Aiken, too!
