Stunning 1880 Victorian, 5 bedroom home set in quiet Darlington borough. Across the street from the Darlington Polo Field, Greersburg Academy, the North Country trailhead, and Beaver County Industrial Museum. Less than a mile to the Gathering Place at Darlington Lake. 15 min to Geneva College, 30 min to Pittsburgh International Airport, and less than 45 min to all that downtown Pittsburgh has to offer. Easy access to 376 and the PA turnpike.

The space
Become a part of the history of the Vance- Duff house! Built circa 1880 by Dr. Vance, Darlington’s local physician of the time - you’ll be charmed by soaring ceilings, stained glass over almost every doorway and even a hidden staircase that accesses the maid’s-quarters!! A home reminiscent of days gone by, but equipped with today’s modern amenities. The whole house is yours to enjoy and explore!
Inside, you'll enter into a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances (fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher) stainless, non-stick, and cast-iron cookware. A Keurig coffee pot capable of brewing individual cups or an entire pot is available. K-cups, ground coffee, and tea are provided. Seating for 6 in the kitchen, with seating for an additional 8+ in the adjoining dining/bar area. The kitchen and bar are stocked with ample dishes, drinking glasses, utensils, cutlery and stemware for 10+ guests. The living room is spacious and outfitted with a comfy leather sectional and leather recliner. Cable and WIFI are included, as is a dedicated work space. 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms outfitted with high quality pima cotton linens, duvets, and plush bath towels are available to accommodate 10 guests.

Outside you'll enjoy a front porch for rocking and sipping morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail, a large level yard for outdoor entertaining, gas grill, fire-pit and outdoor seating for 10+ guests. The Vance-Duff House is the ideal space and location for bridal parties to overnight and get ready the day-of, family reunions, birthdays, graduations, golf/fishing weekends, through hikers, polo fans, history-buffs, corporate evets, retreats, or those just looking for a quiet weekend getaway.

- Walk to the North Country Trail for a morning hike, fish for trout in the Little Beaver Creek, attend a Friday night polo game, visit the Beaver Co. Industrial Museum, Greersburg Academy and explore sites along the Underground Railroad.

Please note, The Vance-Duff House is located in a residential neighborhood - loud parties are not permitted and a no noise after 10pm ordinance exists as a courtesy to our neighbors.
The house maintains much of its original architecture, features, fixtures, floorplan, and “character.” While this makes it fun to explore, please be mindful of uneven walkways and flooring, lower and possibly shaky railings, odd light switch function, narrow, steep stairs, and other unique characteristics common to old houses. This house is not suitable for those with mobility issues.
