Tiny house in the wilderness with spectacular views from every window, make day trips to Dia Beacon, Storm king or hang out at the tiny house on your stone patio & grill. Huge picture window in your living room makes you feel completely immersed in nature & a 10 feet elevated loft bedroom with gives you full views of the wild

NOTE: there is a main house on property as well (on its own designated area) that may or may not be occupied

The space
INTERNET: Verizon FIOS gigabit internet connection on WIFI, CAT 7 cable directly to your dedicated wireless router. All windows have black out blinds.

Outside: 1 acre of private space with nature everywhere. We have families of deer, foxes, herons, groundhogs, turtles all visiting so keep an eye out.

Lions, Tigers, and Bears. Oh My! - Please enjoy the wildlife from inside or from a safe distance. Don’t bother / approach the wildlife.

Outside amenities: 300 sqf slate patio & pathway and a Weber grill.
Sorry but we do NOT have an outdoor fire-pit. These are illegal and the town takes fire safety extremely seriously.

1st Floor Kitchen: 2 induction burners with everything you need to cook comfortably. French Press coffee maker. Full sized refrigerator. Bonus: we have a milk frother as well for latte & hot chocolate lovers

1st Floor bathroom: Lavo dry toilet, full shower

Left Loft: bedroom, queen sized Lessa memory foam mattress, memory foam pillows

Right loft: media den with TV

The Escape Garden House is mostly off the grid, meaning you should note a few things:

-The toilet is a Laveo dry-flush toilet. A double-layered bagging system goes to work each time the toilet is "flushed", effectively compartmentalizing anything in the bowl with an airtight twist-and-seal action.

- If you want to know more search Laveo dry-flush on Youtube. It is very easy to use and I'm 100% confident you will have no problems :) Look at our reviews.

- Guests are required to bring any used Laveo cartridges to the main house trash cans when changing and upon departure.

- Please limit showers to 8 min or less as you are on a 30 gallon tank with a water pump (welcome to tiny house living ;) )

Other notes:

- Winter: please bring slippers as the floor gets really cold

- NO DOGS (or any sort of pet): We have people who have allergies staying at the tiny house

- Be aware of ticks. This is the country and deer run the town council, so while we have had 0 issues, please avoid tall grass, bushes and never lay on the ground directly or with your bare skin (use a blanket). Ideally enjoy the sun on your stone patio and our outdoor furniture :)

- Sometimes there is a little road noise, its hard to find a place with no road noise 1.5 hours from NYC
