The estate features an inviting lagoon pool set amongst the trees, an orchard where you can pick your own fresh organic fruit, a kid’s playground and a grand homestead with an impressive chefs’ kitchen and spacious sun-lit bedrooms.
The perfect base for exploring the historic town of Mariposa and an easy 34 miles to the beautiful Yosemite NP.
The space
Enter the house via the keys in the lockbox and be greeted with an open living room with a rustic wood fireplace and sweeping views out to the mountains.
Bedrooms: Perfect for families or groups, there are three spacious bedrooms in total. The master bedroom with a large king bed and desk to catch up on any work or study. The second bedroom with two queen beds and the third with one queen and a comfy day bed.
Bathrooms: There are two bathrooms with sparkling tiled showers and vanities stocked with quality amenities and soft fluffy towels for each guest.
Kitchen: The large chef’s kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for entertaining a crowd with state-of-the-art appliances including two ovens, two full-size fridges, a food processor, a Keurig coffee maker, bread machine, toaster, an Instapot 6Qt, a juicer, a Blender and Waffler maker just to name a few!
Dining: Enjoy your culinary creations at the dining room or head outside to the covered patio while enjoying the sun set across the valley turning the sky pink. If it starts to get cool, light up the outdoor wood fire place where you can make s'mores with the kids & family.
Pool: Take the stairs down to the inviting lagoon pool and spend the afternoon lounging, swimming and relaxing with the sounds of the rock waterfall trickling in the background.
Outdoor: There is a fun playground area for the big and small kids with two swings hanging from the tree branches, a slide with a great view from the top and a bouncy trampoline.
Orchards: Meander through the gardens to the fruit orchard where you may find apples, juicy plums and berries to pick depending on the season.
Laundry: After all the fun and games of the day, make use of the full-size washer and dryer included in the mud/laundry room.
Games: End you day with some relaxing time by the fireplace and board games. Kids and Teens can also enjoy the foosball table

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire main house of the estate including the pool and orchard as well as free Wi-Fi, free parking, complimentary coffee, pop corn, hot chocolate and full use of your own washing machine and dryer.
Pantry and Owner's closet are restricted to owners & house keepers use only.
Other things to note
Yosemite's Hillside Orchard House is situated on a 10 acres lot. We utilize water well and septic tank.
Internet:
Seamless connectivity meets serene seclusion: Our property now features Starlink Satellite Internet, ideal for streaming, efficient remote work, and uninterrupted staycations
Approach Road:
Be advised- Due to the remoteness of the house, the last 1/2 mile access road leading to this rental is a single lane gravel road and may present challenges to low clearance vehicles.
Pool:
Pool is not heated during winters (Nov-mid May) as the temperatures drop low. For Summer months (Mid May - Mid Oct) - Pool heating is available **on request ** & based on weather. Pool heating will be additional cost.
Fireplace:
Fireplaces (both indoor & outdoor) are not available for use during dry seasons May - Oct. NO grills/BBQ/Open flames(including candles) allowed at all times.
Others:
The Property has cameras placed outdoors at the front door, garage entrance, porch area and driveway. Please note that these cameras are NOT monitored. It’s mostly to check for house maintenance crews, pool keepers & gardeners - arrival/departures.
Our estate also houses a second house behind and away from the main house, giving enough privacy to the main house. Second house hosts our long term friendly tenants/house keeper.
