Perfect time to visit with our Lavender in full bloom!
Hike Shenandoah National Park, mix in a little wine-tasting, history, nature, antiques, sight seeing or spend time on the property and just relax.
Osprey is a ground level room with access to it's own private patio. It overlooks the lake and lavender field, is very spacious with a queen bed, double sinks and shower in the private bathroom.
Close access to the guest kitchen and lounge.

The space
Solstice Farm is a tranquil property set on 13 rolling acres off of R231 (the Blue Ridge Turnpike). Enjoy an early morning or sunset stroll around the Lavender fields and down to the lake on our mown trails or linger on the verandah with a good book and a cup of coffee or maybe a glass of wine!
The house and rooms are spacious and have been updated over the past year.
Food when provided is organic where possible and bedding is mostly cotton with crisp white organic cotton sheets made in the USA!
Views of the mountains abound and local historical sites (Civil War) are also on the doorstep. It's an area popular with those attending Weddings, Graduations, and Wineries (of which there are many to choose from!).
Shenandoah National Park is close and now fully open or we can also direct you to some amazing local trails.

Where you’ll be

Rochelle, Virginia, United States

Quiet rural neighborhood with views of the mountains. The beauty of our area is that we are rural but not remote and have a range of places to go very near by. Many Mennonites live locally and as such we have farm stalls and shops close by.

We are excited to have just planted our first 1000 lavender plants expanding our agri-tourism outlook, we look forward to welcoming those that want a glimpse in to the pure, and relatively simple life in harmony with nature.

During your stay

We do live and work in the property, we have our own kitchen but will be sharing the main 1st floor dining space, plus the patio and bbq with guests.
This is a little more like a very small hotel, but with space for guests to cater for themselves. We usually like to socialize but during COVID we keep it to a minimum.
