Soak up the view during your stay.
Comfortable cottage with beautiful views of the lake. The Carolina room has a swinging chair for two where you can watch the fountain, ducks, birds and other wildlife. The feeling you get here is one of quiet relaxation and an appreciation for the beauty of nature. The cottage was recently renovated and now has granite counter tops, a dishwasher, and a new heating and air conditioning unit (mini-split ductless). You can hang out in the cottage, hike in the forest, or... fishing anyone?

The space
The cottage was newly renovated with updated faux wood planks, heated tile floors in the bathroom, illuminated mirror for perfect makeup applications, a small walk in closet with cubbies for organization. It also has a separate heated towel rack, and a walk-in shower with an LED lighted shower head that tells you when the water is hot! Also new is a sliding glass door out to the uncovered deck where you can catch some sun, bird watch, or star gaze (hint: also a great place for a hot beverage in the morning!). Walking in the community is easy and relaxing with people greeting you as you go by.

We are dog friendly here, so don't be surprised to see residents walking their dogs. If you want to bring a dog, there is also an outdoor faucet so you can rinse your pooch off before heading inside through the Carolina Room; a huge area that allows you to take off wet or muddy shoes, dry the dog, or just sit and watch the sparkling water as it flows from the fountain. Hang out or pass right through to the temperature controlled environment indoors.

The kitchen has granite countertops and plenty of cookware to make most of your recipes come to life. Designed to be your home away from home we include most of what you will need to make meals, or just fun food - your choice. A "great room" concept for the kitchen, dining, and living areas make it easy to be part of the conversation while also being in different areas of the home. The bedroom has plenty of room for 2 with a King size bed and a large comfy chair. This place is so comfy, you will not want to go home!

Guest access
The shared places include a fire circle (yummy s'mores are allowed), the walking areas around the lakes, the fishing on shore, and the hiking trails. We also offer a guest laundry, which is in a shared space, for $2 - bring quarters or we sell rolls (free dry). We have been told the natural beauty of this place is what brings customers back year over year. It is a tranquil space that allows you to breathe fresh air and connect to nature.

Other things to note
We allow dogs (with a pet fee) so you may encounter dogs while in the outdoor areas.
