Ellenville is a small mountain village with a mix of people, businesses, and plenty of personality. It’s not remote or sleepy—it’s got some life to it, and that’s a big part of why we love it here. I wanted to be able to hit the trails in the morning and grab a slice or a coffee in the afternoon—and this spot lets you do both. If you're looking for total peace and quiet, this might not be your scene. But if you’ve got questions, just reach out—I’m always happy to chat!

Guest access
The entire upstairs apartment is yours to use. There is a bistro set on the front porch which is yours exclusively. There is a large yard (unfenced) which you are welcome to enjoy if you'd like. The fenced-in yard in the rear of the property and wooden deck near the parking lot are for other guests -- please do not use them. 2 designated, off-street parking spots are yours exclusively.

Neighborhood highlights

The home is located on a quiet block in the Village of Ellenville. After a year-long search, I chose to move to Ellenville for its proximity to local attractions (hiking, biking, restaurants, farms, views) and distinct village charm. Coupling the beauty of the Catskills mountains with a walking village where coffee, bagels, and seriously good restaurants are right nearby is magical. I am quickly becoming Ellenville's biggest fan and look forward to sharing this cute village and its surrounding area with you. As a small bonus to village living, we have a fantastic park nearby with hiking trails, tennis courts, and basketball hoops -- bring your gear!

My work: Transient Writer
I'm an NYC-native travel writer who's very passionate about good, seamless hospitality. For a decade I operated a hotel in Santorini, but the allure of home (and NY seasons) reeled me back. Now, I split my time between Upstate and the North Fork with a sprinkling of my own travels in between. As a frequent traveler, I look for high function, inspiring form, simplicity and cleanliness in a space. As a host, I aim to deliver all of that and more.
