The lazy bear retreat is a perfect couples getaway. Enjoy a glass of wine while sitting by the fire under the stars and listening to all of the wildlife.Lazy bear retreat is a cozy rustic cabin nestled along the Cap-capon river in beautiful Hampshire County. Kayaks and life vests are on site, so you can float up and down this peaceful stretch of the Cap-capon. While out on the river, be sure to look up and watch for the Bald eagles flying above. Or just enjoy a relaxing time inside snuggled up.

The space
The lazy bear retreat is a freshly remodeled log cabin that sits just steps away from the Cap-capon River. Sit out on the patio or deck and just enjoy the beautiful views of the river.

Other things to note
Please be aware that you will be in a fully wooded lot with lots of trees and falling nuts on the property. and it's the worst during the fall months. The nuts can dent your car, so it is best to park your car in front of the rocks as you pull in. They will also be falling on the roof of the cabin and can be loud.
