Ideal accommodation for those who prefer an authentic place, love to explore and feel free in nature, while staying a few kilometers from all the tourist points of the province.
Getting to us is an experience. Leaving the SS113, you travel along a dirt road for 800m, through olive groves and vineyards of small farms. Slowly you go up and you get glimpses of the sea on one side and the temple of Segesta on the other.
The road is poorly maintained and difficult in some places, but yes, it will be worth it!

The space
The house appears on the hillside among beautiful olive trees and a centuries-old, very tall maritime pine. Planted on the slope of the hill, it is divided into a series of terraces on distinct levels. The small house, recently remodeled, offers large open spaces designed to take advantage of the different views and exhibitions of the place.
On the south side, a terrace equipped with a kitchen is projected towards the west with a precious view of the hills that house the ancient temple and amphitheater of Segesta up to the Zingaro mountains and the medieval Erice, behind which the sun hides.
To take full advantage of this view, we have created two terraces that house a BBQ area and a small panoramic pool (3x3m).
Another covered terrace overlooks the valley that divides us from the beautiful Mount Inici and lets us imagine the sea behind the hill.
Inside, the house is a single space, in addition to the small bathroom, developed on distinct levels that limit the sleeping area from the living area.
The windows are square. The view will not stop surprising you, open on all four sides, it allows light to invade the environment and air to circulate, making even the hottest days of the year cool.
The house has a sleeping area equipped with a comfortable double bed and a small living room with a kitchenette ideal for the coldest days when it is not convenient to use the terrace with the outdoor kitchen.
The sofa is possibly a third bed for a child.
We leave everything necessary to prepare breakfast for guests who stay for short periods: coffee, tea, jam, salt, sugar.
We are in the middle of the countryside, obviously we are not connected to the public aqueduct, so we do not have drinking water, we always leave mineral water for the arrival of our customers.
In the house there is a heat pump suitable for heating the house in the coldest months and cooling it in the hottest ones.

Ours is a country house, not a hotel, earth, sun, cicada song, wind whistles are the everyday companions, but also some ants, mosquitoes, foxes, sand carried by the wind. It is a home for those who love and accept this, not a resort villa. Luxury gives way to the rustic flavor of the countryside.
The road that leads to us is a dirt road in the countryside, remember to drive on it carefully. It is poorly maintained with several holes and bumps. In our opinion, it can be driven with any car, but, if possible, prefer a high car and avoid low sports cars.
