Birdsong Villa (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property).
The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.

The space
Architecturally designed high-quality construction with stunning views across the valley and is located in a private part of the property.
We will post photos of the inside as it gets closer to completion.
Open and airy in summer (plus fans and aircon). Inbuilt gas fire place for those cold winter nights.

Other things to note
For bookings for 2 or less guests, bedding can be made available for the sofa bed if required for an additional charge of $25 per stay.
Our property and accommodation is not suitable for children.
Figtrees on Watson is made available as guest accommodation only and is not suitable for events or weddings. if you are intending to have additional day visitors/cars please discuss with us in advance and we can let the caretakers know.
Please be mindful during your stay that there are other guests staying on the property who also want to relax, revive and restore

We have had a long connection and attraction to the Maleny area having had acreage in Witta some 40+ years ago but family, work and business has kept us in Brisbane. Figtrees on Watson has re-established the Maleny link and it captures everything that draws people to Maleny - country setting, spectacular views, tranquility, lush gardens, rainforest and rolling green hills. We haven't made a permanent move to Maleny (who knows in time) but it gives us pleasure to know that many people have and will enjoy the stunning beauty of this property. Beyond just a holiday home, we want Figtrees on Watson to be a place to relax, revive and restore - David and Patricia.
