Escape the city in this 3 bedroom spectacular. Featuring two master suites! The first master has a king bed, jacuzzi tub, and private balcony. The second master has a queen bed and a private entrance out onto the deck where you can watch the sunset. The third bedroom has two beds with an extra-large closet for storing all of your belongings. Come and relax by visiting the pool, soaking in the hot tub, relaxing by the fire, or playing one of the provided games with your family.

The space
All new decor! We offer smart T.V.s and WIFI. We have a small charcoal grill located out in back of the cottage off the steps on the porch. There is no smoking in this house but you are welcome to do it outside. We supply towels, linens, and kitchen items for your stay. The interior fireplace is for decoration only. Please do not attempt to turn it on. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, coffee/tea makers and cookware/dishes/utensils.

Please be advised, the Cottage driveway offers parking space for two vehicles. Any trailers or additional vehicles must be parked in the overflow parking lot. The resort has a strict policy of no parking in the grass or street

Neighborhood highlights

Edgewater Resort is a gated community on Taylorsville Lake. There is an abundance of wild life, areas for hiking/biking. Pool and Sand Volleyball in season. The Marina (a separate, privately-owned business) is at your service, as well.

Check out the famous KY Bourbon Trail website to find the world-famous tour of Kentucky's favorite beverage distilleries. Maker's Mark is particularly nice.

The cottage is located on the top of the hill which overlooks the lake. There are access trails that the resort maintains and we have markers to indicate where to hike. Taylorsville Lake is a boating and fishing lake, it does not have beach access. Taylorsville Lake Marina is within walking distance. You can also visit the state park that is a short 10 minute drive .

Our guests have access to all that Edgewater Resort has to offer, including the resort clubhouse, pool in season, children's play area volleyball pit, basketball court, and lake access by the marina. Because we are located a little outside of town, the major grocery chains are about a 25 minute drive away. However town does have a wonderful grocery store, pharmacy, auto and hardware store. Louisville is located about 45 mins away.
