This bedroom is at the center of the house by the front door for easy access. You do hear others coming and going. The pioneer-style urban farm back yard includes a cabin, 2 fire pits, a goat yard, a chicken yard, and a lots of relaxing green space.
This is a 4 bedroom house. This is our home, and we welcome additional guests with access to the kitchen and common spaces. Since this is not a hotel, there may be cooking, dishes in the sink and laundry to be folded. Like home. We welcome you.

The space
If you love books, you will feel right at home. Two of the walls are lined with bookshelves. The room comes with a small flat screen tv and fire stick , a small desk, and a chair. This room has central air plus a ceiling light and fan and an additional bedside lamp. The french door leading into the bedroom is located right inside the front door and across from the sunken living room.
You will be using a shared bathroom across the hall with guests from an additional Airbnb room but are welcome to use an additional bathroom on the west side of the house if your bathroom is occupied.
*NOTE: A visiting nature school occupies the back yard a couple of times a month. The day will be a week day but it will only be between the hours of 8:30am and 2pm. For safety reasons I will be checking the ID of all guests. The children generally don’t come in the house, except to use the restroom. Airbnb guests will not have access to the backyard while the children are present.

Guest access
No private entry. Access through the front door. You have full access to 2 bathrooms, one across the hall from the bedroom (which is shared with another guest) and another on the west side of the house (which is shared with us), laundry room, the kitchen and all of it's dishes and cookware, family room with pool table, fireplace, dining room, living room and HUGE backyard with 2 fire pits, 2 hammocks, swing bed, relaxing patio, pizza oven, children's play equipment. There will also be space in the driveway for your car.

During your stay
We live in this home with our adult son and have another room we open to Airbnb guests. We will be available, respectful, and helpful. We respect your privacy and are also quite open to conversation.

Other things to note
This is a 4 bedroom 2 bath home. You will have a private room but will be sharing this home with the owners and guests in the other 2 rooms.

Neighborhood highlights

Our house is an older house built in 1963 but almost all the houses around us in this quiet residential neighborhood are fairly new. You have access to several parks, tennis courts, and basketball courts within a short walking distance. We are very close to Loma Linda University and 4 hospitals. We have plenty of choices for grocery shopping and shopping malls close by. There are also some very nice hiking, running, and mountain biking trails within about a mile from our house.
