Peace and quiet on a small country farmstead. Off the beaten path yet conveniently located halfway between Disney World and Clearwater Beach. Historic Plant City, famous for their strawberry farms, has a cute downtown area with antique shops, bistros and cafes. Relax on your private back deck overlooking our organic vegetable garden. Say good morning to a variety of birds (including welcoming our newest chicks) living on the property and goats, cows and horses living nearby.

The space
This is a converted shipping container, 8' x 40', with all the conveniences of a traditional home, just a bit more compact. Because this is a tiny home with three steps leading up to the front door it may not be suitable for folks with limited mobility.
This container is physically connected to a second container on an 8' section of one side. This other container is our second Airbnb listing. Other than a shared parking area there are no shared amenities. There is a sound proof wall separating the two containers. There is no access between the two containers.

Guest access
Full use of the container home and private deck with outdoor dining and cushioned gliders. Lots of off street parking that is designated by reflective tape wheel bumpers up at the shipping container.

Other things to note
We have a private well and a septic system. The well has a very high quality water source. There is an occasional sulfur smell that dissipates quickly. We are hidden from the road. If you book with us the listing details will give you specific directions how to find us. We are not child-proofed and therefore do not recommend this unit for guests with young children.

Neighborhood highlights

This is a rural area filled with farms, nurseries and a variety of neighboring livestock. If a quiet, country experience is your goal, this is your place. That said we are within a 10-15 minute drive to stores and restaurants not to mention the cute Plant City historic district. We are close to a variety of activities including wineries, horseback riding, hiking/biking trails and canoe/kayak rentals. We especially enjoy having quick access to several fresh produce vendors.
