Get away from the city, enjoy tent camping, under the stars, in a safe environment. Shady sites in the trees with a fire ring and picnic table at the sites. Limited campers allowed, and camping sites are about 100ft apart. The lake is only 1.5mi away where there is access for fishing, kayaking, swimming and a boat ramp. Camping is primitive without electricity. There is a camp bathhouse with hot water, shower and composting toilet. Parking nearby.

The space
There is a picnic table, firepit, and a trash can at the site. PLEASE dump your trash at the end of your stay. There is a dumpster near gate 2.

Guest access
Driving into the camping area is NOT permitted due to safety issues. There is parking in the parking lot near the sites and carts provided to haul your things to the site.

Other things to note
NO parking at your campsite! You will have to haul your stuff to the site from the parking lot. We do provide carts for this. You may hear some road noise and lots of nature sounds.

We like to hike, backpack, kayak, garden, and walk. Sunsets, sunrises, mountains or the hill country, flowers, butterflies, birds, and water in all it's forms are our favorite things to watch, besides our grandkids!
