This fully-furnished 2 bedroom / 2 bath cottage is nestled in the heart of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail & horse farm heaven. Savor stunning views of Taylorsville Lake from the private hot tub on the back deck, take a dip in the community pool, or tee off at the nearby golf course. Rent a boat or kayak at the neighboring marina for a day on the water.

The Bourbon Trail Bungalow is the perfect getaway for honeymooners, moonshiners, horse lovers, couples and besties, bikers, hikers, golfers, anglers, foodies and families!

Taylorsville Lake puts you in the "goldilocks spot" - just the right distance from everywhere. Whether you want to get away from it all or have an itinerary with stops on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, tours of nearby horse farms, or bets at Churchill Downs, our bungalow is miles from everywhere yet close to everything. Be sure to visit the Kentucky Tourism website for ideas, links and more.

Nearby Taylorsville has most conveniences and amenities, including a grocery, pharmacy, Wine & Spirit shops, Ace Hardware and several chain and local eateries. A 5-minute drive will have you seeing green at the Tanglewood Golf Course (18 holes, par 72).

As you drive in, keep an eye out for wild deer, turkeys and summertime fireflies. At the end of your day, bubble away in the hot tub on the private deck while listening to the breeze in the trees and the occasional splashy flop of a big fish that got away in the lake.

Please be advised, the Cottage driveway offers parking space for two vehicles. Any trailers or additional vehicles must be parked in the overflow parking lot. The resort has a strict policy of no parking in the grass or street.

Edgewater Resort is a gated community on Taylorsville Lake. There is an abundance of wild life, areas for hiking/biking. Pool and Sand Volleyball in season. The Marina (a separate, privately-owned business) is at your service, as well.

Check out the famous KY Bourbon Trail website to find the world-famous tour of Kentucky's favorite beverage distilleries. Maker's Mark is particularly nice.
