Lyric Lodge & Inn at GratiDude Ranch is minutes to Leipers Fork outside the rolling hills of Franklin, TN. Enjoy this resort-like property that is fully renovated with farmhouse style decor, two separate living quarters for large groups, a private heated saltwater in-ground out swimming pool open May through Sept and wraparound porches overlooking Harpeth Creek. For an additional fee, a 1000 sq ft open studio space is also available for rent for retreat-type activities or additional sleeping.

Lyric Lodge & Inn at GratiDude Ranch used to be known as Lyric Spring Country Inn and was a B&B owned by Patsy & Ed Bruce. Ed Bruce was a well-known song-writer and actor. He wrote "Mama don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys" and starred in the Western hit "Maverick". Country artists such as Johnny Cash have graced the Lodge and the same pool table that these stars used is sitting in the saloon today. Pretty cool, huh?!
The lodge layout is as follows:
*Creek View Suite (Sleeps 4). This upstairs private suite has a king bed as well as a bunk bed. This suite has a private luxury bath with a gorgeous walk-in shower. Private sliding doors walk you out to the wraparound porch overlooking the creek with a private seating area to enjoy your morning coffee or evening whiskey.
*Pond View Suite (Sleeps 2) This upstairs private suite has a king bed with private bath. Private sliding doors walk you out to the wraparound porch overlooking the pond with a private sitting area to enjoy your morning coffee or evening whiskey.
*The Zen Studio can be added on to the Lodge & Inn for an additional fee and sleeps 4 guests in twin beds. This open concept space also has a 57 inch smart tv and large sectional. There is a private entrance to the Zen Suite that also walks out to the salt water in-ground pool.
*The Saloon (Sleeps 2) This downstairs billiard room is set up as an actual Saloon with a bar (we do not provide alcohol but feel free to bring your own). It also has a pool table. A Murphy bed in the saloon can sleep 2. It has a half bath. Guests can use the shower upstairs in the foyer shared by The Zen Studio guests.
* The Wraparound Porch (sleeps 2) There are two twin swing beds that can sleep two additional guests depending on the time of year and weather restrictions.
*There is a full chef kitchen in the lodge and a dining room that can seat up to 20 guests.
The Inn layout is as follows:
*Private Suite (sleeps 2) The Private Suite has a king bed with a private full bath. It also has its own side porch overlooking the pond and our fountain.
*Creek Side Room (sleeps 3). This bedroom has three twin beds and a closet. It shares a full bath with the Terrace Room.
*Terrace Side Room (sleeps 2) This bedroom has two twin beds and a large walk-in closet. It has sliding doors leading out to our terrace patio space which is a common area. This bedroom shares a full bath with the Creekside Room
*The Inn has an additional living room and kitchenette.
Guests also have access to a shared laundry room.
In addition to Lyric Lodge & Inn, a guesthouse on the property can sleep four to five additional guests and can be rented separately. If guests renting the Lodge & Inn prefer having the entire property to themselves, we would recommend renting the guesthouse. Otherwise, it could be rented by another party during your stay.
Private, religious or corporate group gathering are welcome.
Our farm pets on the ranch a 1 minute drive away include our Pyrenees pup Lily, our barn cat, Kitty, our miniature dwarf cow, Red, and our miniature donkeys, ponies, goats, a few friendly chickens and our miniature pigs. You are welcome to meet all of them during your stay!
We're only 8 miles from historic Leipers Fork Village, less than 20 miles south of Historic Downtown Franklin, TN, approx 10 minutes from the well-known Loveless Cafe, and approx 45 minutes from downtown Nashville.
For out of town guests, Fox & Locke has live music almost every night. The Loveless Cafe offers amazing breakfast. Meridees and Frothy Monkey are favorites as well in downtown Franklin. Whatever you want - you can find! There are numerous antique shops, a rare books store, a few upscale art galleries, and plenty more small town shops await you in the community of Leiper's Fork.
Guest access
Guests will have full access to the main house. The guesthouse is a separate quarters and may be rented by other guests if not booked in conjunction with your Lodge & Inn booking.
Other things to note
The Lodge & Inn are in the same house but can be considered two separate quarters (think a duplex). The Inn is a 3 bedroom/2 bath home. It shares a door with the Lodge (think of a hotel room sharing a door) but can be locked from the Lodge side and guests can choose whether everyone in the house has access to both spaces or not. Most larger groups keep the door open so guests can go between the spaces freely. In addition to the lodge & inn space, the Guesthouse is an outbuilding and separate rental quarters as well that guests may be staying in during your stay if you do not book it in addition to the lodge & inn. Please respect them. The pool is only accessible to our Lodge & Inn guests. The Guesthouse renters do not have access to the pool unless all spaces are booked by the same party.
