Rustic suites built in an original Dance Hall on site of historic Texas town, population 0. Your deck is steps away from the milk barn and hen house. Not the Ritz Carlton! Get ready for farm life! Smells. Sounds. Sites. You are only feet from farm yard. Saloon open Wed-Sun. Lawn games. On Bankersmith's small farm you will interact with chickens, goats, ducks, geese, pigs and more. Only 8 miles from downtown Fredericksburg. Food, bar, live music Wed-Sun. Wineries close. Get away from it all!

The space
Some bedrooms literally have a window that opens into the Dance Hall. This is the only Dance Hall Hotel in Texas! These suites are on the same property as a small farm and the Bankersmith Dance Hall and Saloon. Tons of history and beauty. These are rustic suites and you should expect to interact with animals, animal noises and smells. Again, the animals are noisy! Please don't book if you do not want a taste of farm life. Check updated hours of operation for Bankersmith on FB, but the site has an open bar, restaurant, adult and kid's play area. We also do Safari Wine Tours across the street at Grapetown Vineyard! A great Tasting Room and Vineyard, you should check out their website for more information as well. There is plenty of parking and typically fun, family friendly events each Friday and Saturday. Check the Bankersmith schedule for an update on what entertainment will be performing the day or night of your stay! Rooster alarm clocks may wake you up, at a time of their own choosing. The suites are also on the back end of the dance hall, so be forewarned you will hear the live music on most Friday and Saturday days and nights. Music typically starts at noon and lasts until 10PM. Advance warning, the have cold and hot water, of course, but the showers never get piping hot. The wifi and cell service is extremely limited. Do not come here to stay connected. Come here to get away.

On many Saturdays we do host small fun festivals. As a thank you, we provide our guests with 1 free General Admission Pass per guest! Just ask Hallie or Bobby for details. The only thing we ask in return is for a fun review and maybe a photo or two on Yelp!

WARNING: Lower your expectations. It's critical you know you are staying in a ghost town, in a one bedroom on the back of a dance hall. You will be surrounded by farm animals and critters. Do not come here for luxury, wifi or if you are high maintenance. Come here to get away.
