The Pajama Factory was awarded the prestigious designation of being placed on the National Registry of Historic Places. In addition to artist studios, a coffee house and many small businesses, there are eclectic living lofts for the adventurous. Located a few blocks from Penn College, 5 miles to the Little League International World Series Complex, and a mile from downtown nightlife and restaurants. Beautiful hikes and great fly fishing are located a short drive away in almost any direction.

The space
The loft itself is an eclectic design. A resident artist painted the mural on the wall and the kitchen area. This, in itself, is a true work of art and fun to study the detail. We are currently bringing in more artwork to the space from building artists that will be offered for sale. We have also collected a bit of nostalgia- comic books, toys that add to the fun of the space. There is a sitting area, kitchen, eating area, reading chair and queen bed (the couch can sleep and extra person). As your host, I am on site if you have any questions or need anything.

Strolling the hallways you can enjoy the art produced by the many artists in the building. You may run into them in the hallways or get a chance to see their studios (if their doors are open and they are working). Walking the corridors you will be able to experience the history of this building- once the largest factory of pajamas in the world! Or, just relax in the beautiful courtyard- a perfect oasis for enjoying a book or just taking in a bit of nature. Visit pajamafactory .com to get more information on this community.

Of note, the WiFi in the studio is ultra fast (90 mbps): perfect if you are working remotely or would like to stream on multiple devices.

Please also keep in mind that while there is a TV in the studio, it is not connected to cable and instead has an HDMI cable for you to stream from your own device.

Please feel free to explore The Pajama Factory and enjoy all the artwork in the hallways. The courtyard is also a beautiful setting (day or night) to relax and meet other tenants in the building. The building houses a coffee shop, sandwich restaurant, game room, makeup artists, photographers, massage therapists, poets, painters, tattoo artists, facialists, lash technicians, woodworkers and potters to name a few!

However, please note that while there is an elevator to the unit, there is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the elevator across uneven sidewalk with some limited lighting. For anyone with mobility issues there may be difficulty navigating the Pajama Factory.

Please note, this is a non-smoking property. Smoking is permitted in the courtyard but not in any interior buildings or the studio itself.
