A 1920s kit house redesigned by K-State architecture students into a light-filled open layout

A place guests keep coming back to

Guests call it peaceful and return for repeat stays, with several booking more than once
A "kit house" from the 1920s has been re-imagined into an open space filled with light by fifth-year architecture students from Architecture, Planning, and Design at K-State. Set in a former railroad town in the heart of the Flint Hills (population one), the "Little House" is a short walk down a country road to the historic Volland Store, A Place for Art and Community. Looking for quiet? for inspiration? The "Little House" is the answer. The perfect retreat from a busy world.
