The Pill Box serves as the camp's healthcare facility during the summer months and so this accommodation does not include a kitchen. Included is a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven/air fryer combo, and a double plate countertop electric burner. There are many restaurants you can visit or order take-out from. There is no "dining area" or "living area" however there is a large desk with some folding chairs which the guests may use. There is no TV located in the Pill Box. Please see the photos included in the listing.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the scenic Cowpasture River frontage - great for swimming, canoeing or tubing. Guests may also enjoy hiking, basketball, tennis and volleyball. (The net on the tennis court has been taken down to store for the winter months)

If you plan on taking a canoe out on the river, we ask that you wear a PFD at all times and to canoe upstream and float back down and to get out at our beach area (where you put in). There is nowhere to pull out as you go downstream as it leads to private property. Please place the canoe back on the rack when you are done. We do have PFD’s that will fit a teenager however, you may want to bring your own to make sure you have one that fits correctly for an adult or small child. The river is within a short walk. We ask people not to park in the grass or down at the river.

Other things to note
This is a tobacco free property. Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the grounds or inside buildings.

We have a great deal of respect for nature and do not allow fishing or hunting on the property and firearms are not allowed on the property at any time.

This is not a pet friendly home.

Bath County has a 10:00pm noise ordinance. Please be respectful of our neighbors and other families staying in the rentals close by.
