Luxurious, cosy and private self-catering Eco-accommodation in a newly refurbished traditional Scottish farmhouse, situated in the heart of Cairngorms National Park.

On the Speyside Malt Whisky trail, with distilleries and restaurants nearby. Local activities include hill walking, fishing, biking (mountain and road), watersports, and skiing. Awarded dark sky status so the scenery at night is as breathtaking as during the day!

Moray Coast one hour away with access to beach and dolphin spotting.

The space
Decorated throughout to a luxurious standard. This superbly equipped cottage sleeps six in three bedrooms. The lounge has a large-screen Smart TV (Netflix, iPlayer etc.) and Sonos Soundbar for TV & music. Unlimited internet is available through WiFi. Ideal for all year round with wood burning stove and a supply of wood. DVD player and Wii in chill out area upstairs.

The dining kitchen is well equipped with a Neff induction hob, dual oven and microwave; large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, slow cooker, Nespresso machine, Sonos speaker and wine fridge.

The Victorian bathroom has a bath and pressurised shower, with linen and towels provided.

Relax at the picnic table overlooking the Glenlivet Estate and enjoy watching the local farm and wild life.

Over 150 years old, the stone farmhouse has been renovated in 2020 to a high eco standard, with full insulation and renewable energy heating. On the cold winter nights, relax in the cosy cottage and warm your toes in front of the wood burning stove.

The house is situated in 1.5 acres with an unoccupied stone steading onsite.

The house is a one hour drive from Inverness and just three hours drive from Glasgow & Edinburgh. We are close to Grantown-on-Spey and half an hour from Aviemore.

A travel cot and highchair and additional child friendly equipment available on request.
