America's only original Grist Mill & Covered Bridge residence, as seen on HGTV's "You Live in What?" and now worldwide on the Netflix travel series "World's Most Amazing Vacation Rentals" (season 2, episode 7). Central Vermont's historic and romantic adult getaway features private beach (on Vermont's warmest river) with tethered, relaxing, on site float tubes & two private decks overlooking Mill River's secluded waterfall and Kingsley covered bridge.
Near Killington & Okemo Mtns.

The space
The Kingsley Grist Mill is a national historic site that is not open to the public, is only available to one adult and young adult guest group of up to four attendees at a time. Infants under 1 yr. may attend. We are exclusive to Airbnb.

*The interior and totally private space consists of more than 3,000 sq. ft. of mind bending solid first generation hemlock grain bins, chutes and ladders. These never before used architectural elements, invented by the legendary covered bridge builder Nicholas Montgomery Powers, have been selected by Architectual Digest as one of the top seven best examples on Netflix. Some of the oldest interior elements in the Kingsley Grist Mill, such as the downstairs bathroom door, date back to 1778 when the post Revolutionary War Crary house was first constructed on this site.
All four stories of the Mill's main structure are yours to explore and embrace exclusively, including two chained and cantilevered river decks ( featured in Achitectural Digest's Taunton Press )
with 30 ft. and 60 ft. views of Mill river's 150 ft. carved waterfall directly below.
You are staying in the only structure of it's kind in the world. Thank you for being part of history!
