Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Lay in bed and look out the huge picture window at the farm. You might see cats climbing trees, hummingbirds, snowflakes falling, lightning storms and many more beautiful moments. We have a Wolf, don't be alarmed she is as friendly as can be and will greet you and escort you to the cabin. If you like nature, animals, walking in the forest, cuddling up by the wood stove, then this is the place for you. The cabin is surrounded by gorgeous perennial gardens. We look forward to hosting you!

The space
Update August 21st 2025
Our goats are off the farm for the fall and winter. In the spring we may welcome cows and some goats again. In the mean time we have our dog Wolf, two cats, Sage and Charcoal, and two chickens.

Our home is also on the property, not far from the cabin. You may see me tending to my gardens and animals. This is a working farm. There is a wood stove in the cabin. We do have internet here, it is slow but the router is located in the garage.

Wood is for sale $10 a small box or $20 a sled/ full wood box in the winter.

Upon arrival on below freezing days you can expect a fire going in the stove for you and a full wood box. Please pay for the amount of wood you use and additional fire wood is self serve instructions will be in the cabin.

Before leaving please pay with cash or Pay Pal. If no payment was left I will bill you through airbnb.
Thank you for understanding! Chainsawing trees and chopping wood is so much work!

If you are visiting the farm during the cold seasons here is a list of helpful things to bring...
-Boots
-Warm Clothes
-Gloves/ Mittens
-Newspaper (for starting fire)
-**Firestarters** (If you don't have a lot of experience making fires or you like to have a fire started quickly I highly recommend buying some fire starters to use during your stay any hardware store in VT will carry them)

P. S. The main heat source is a wood stove, if you need help starting the fire or want me to stoke it while you are away let me know. To get up the driveway in winter conditions you may have to back up the road to get a fast start.

Kitchen: There is a hot plate, large toaster oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, pots, pans, bowls, utensils, cutting boards, cups, plates, bowls, kitchen knifes, and complimentary coffee and teas.

Bathroom: Towels, face cloths, hand towel, toilet sink and shower.

We have a strict cancelation policy. Please read it thoroughly before booking.

We have walking trails in the woods here on the property and a seasonal creek that runs through. Tons of walking and exploring opportunities! Right next to the cabin is an archway that leads to a woodland trails marked in a turquoise blue blaze.

Other things to note
The closest grocery store is about 15 minutes away. Please no shoes in the cabin. Thank you so much! We do not have cell service here but we have (slow and finicky) internet. This is a great place to unplug and enjoy nature. The shower is a small stall shower.

Neighborhood highlights

It is quiet and peaceful where we live. I absolutely love it. We are a 25 minute drive from Montpelier where we enjoy to hang out and shop but at the end of the day we love coming home to our mountain land.

Hi! I'm Ariana. I spent most of my life traveling and exploring new places. I love the south west and feel at home among the desert full of cactus and coyote. Feb of 2020 We moved from CA to Vermont! I love tending to the land here and raising my little humble farm family. We have five goats Maple, Moon, Star, Sunshine and Snowflake. We have chickens and occasionally pigs. I grow a big garden of organic fruits and veggies. At times I host WWOOfers on the farm and teach folks about farming and sustainability. My favorite book is Braiding Sweetgrass and you can find a copy of it in our cabin rental. I like lighting storms, hiking, camping and swimming. I come outside almost every night to look at the milky-way across the sky. My toddler and I search for giant bumblebees in the daffodils in the spring and in the winter lay in the snow catching flake on our tongues. Making art makes me happy.
