Thank you for your understanding.
WINTER LOVERS: We got talked into opening the treehouse in the winter and it worked out great. The hot tub works; the treehouse is warm; the stream and waterfall are running, and the winter garden and birdwatching are amazing! However, the outdoor shower is down for the winter, and the sink water is off. We put a 2 1/2 gallon water jug over the sink so there is water for teeth, coffee, etc. You can snowshoe at the Spring Valley Nature Center down the street, with snowshoe rentals for a nominal charge.
Other Things to Note
We supply robes and towels, but guests might want to bring sandals or slippers.
Guests should be age 21 or older, but we do allow kids if they are able to handle the ladders, high porch, etc. The shelves around the hot tub are for beverages and cannot support people.
I'm an outgoing family man who, along with my wife, would love to host you in our backyard garden treehouse which I built with help from a buddy. I'm a coast guard licensed sailor who took a few years off to sail the Caribbean. I do carpentry, and in my spare time I am currently helping to develop an eco treehouse lodge on the Snake River in the Teton foothills near Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I also enjoy gardening. We are a multi-racial open-minded household so people of all races and lifestyles are welcome here.
