Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Blue Ridge Mountain Sunrise! This beautiful 26 acre working farm has been home to the Morris Family for over 100 years. The property is 5 minutes from downtown Weaverville and 15 minutes from Downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Experience country life close to the city. Goats, (baby goats in March) chickens and honeybees round out our little slice of Heaven. As well as organic gardens producing fresh fruit and produce. Close to hiking, rafting, galleries, great food, breweries, music

The space
This unique Farmhouse, built in 1918, has been lovingly remodeled and restored in hopes that future generations will continue to enjoy for years to come.
Spring is busy on the farm with all the new baby goat arrivals (early March) and the garden preparations. Summer is alive with wonderful fresh vegetables and fruit. Fall is astonishing with the changing of the trees and our mild winters make any season a great time to visit.
Whether you want to snuggle up in a quiet corner with a book, swing under a 100-year-old oak, soak in a bubble bath, grill steaks on the deck, make smores around the firepit, swing on the front porch, play board games or just get a relaxing night's sleep we think you will love the farmhouse as much as we do. Follow us on social media @ Morris Farm Guesthouse @cherylandsteveshome to keep up on happenings at the farm and the date for the baby goats to start arriving. (Mid-March-early April)
You will usually be greeted by our livestock guardians Tilly and Stoney and their herd of goats as well as our free-range hens and our Tabby (Emmie)
Settle in for a soak in the tub and a comfortable night's rest and wake to watch the beautiful sunrise over the Blue Ridge as you drink your coffee on the side deck or in the Adirondack chairs on the barnyard lawn.
Prepare a country breakfast of Fresh Homemade Bread, Morris Farm Honey, Fresh Organic Free-Range eggs and organic Locally roasted coffee... provided for you when you arrive.
Then you are ready to embark on your adventures...what treasures will you discover today?
Our hope is that you will feel welcome and at home at Morris Farm Guesthouse.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire house, the front porch, the deck and the main yard including the massive 100 year old oak with hammock swing and the barnyard lawn with firepit (wood provided)....With host to accompany you may enter the pasture area and the barn to visit and pet the animals. Guests are also welcome to pick blueberries and figs from the bushes in the yard (in season) to add to your breakfast as well as fresh vegetables in the garden.

Other things to note
Our hens are free range and may surround your vehicle when you arrive. They are harmless .You may want some extra shoes for exploring the farm as you will encounter animal droppings. We do have an outside spigot for cleanup.
Bedroom 2 and 3 are joined with a sliding door between and you must walk through bedroom 2 to get to bedroom 3 aka the sleeping porch.
It has been a plus for families traveling with children or elderly but maybe not so much for those who want more privacy.
