About This Listing
Come enjoy the comfy modern style rooms with bay window, picture window and a sun room--that's why we call it window house. Two rooms have fireplaces to take the chill off on a cool night. The back deck is totally private for a cozy soiree- terraced gardens designed and built, and now being planted. We have a lot of conveniences for State College lovers--walking distance to downtown and campus, close to football shuttle. On the bus route. Take the bikes for ride on the many bike trails. Off street parking. Most people remark about the lovely neighborhood--lush green lawns and big trees. We throw a blanket out on the front lawn and watch the joggers, and bikers go by. Friendly, casual, and yet vibrant and full of activity, our neighborhood is one in a million. We love it! And we would like to share it! Nearby there are two wineries, great shops and trails. The overnight rate varies. During game weekends and special events we have a different rate. We also have different rates for house privacy or shared space.
No smoking. Only to use the home as if it were your own.
There is a tenant in the house in a separate section with a private entrance. There is no contact with the tenant for any reason.
Lovely home, easy communication with host, would recommend!
Home was comfy and cozy, perfect place to stay for a weekend in State College. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the back patio!
Our hosts did a wonderful job trying to make us feel welcome and even left some breakfast items. They also arranged perfect weather for the Penn State win! The only recommendation we would make to guests is to consider bring their own pillows...something we regretted. All considered a good alternative to a hotel for a football weekend. Go State !
This was the perfect place to stay if you are in town for a Penn State game. Our group of 5 slept comfortably in Elle's spacious home and enjoyed a short, 10 minute ride to the Spike's stadium. We enjoyed meeting our accommodating host and loved that the house was so conveniently located. I would definitely stay here again!
Their lovely home was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were extremely accommodating and considerate. It was a bit further from campus than I expected but I would highly recommend their home to anyone traveling to State College .

Love the arts, nature, and movement--exercise,dancing, hiking! I am developing a primitive campground in Clearfield County. Campers can also stay in that location. I facilitate retreats and offer a special program called, The Elements of New Life Scripts. Love to cook too. Especially vegetarian. Hoping to meet travelers, doers, amiable people through Air BnB. I have a great family. Three young adult children. Two dogs. A loveable husband. :) Life is good.
