A 19th century half-timbered house, completely renovated this year, it is located on the land of the Manor of Charlotte Corday's grandparents.

La Maison de Charlotte is ideally located to discover the historic sites of Normandy and enjoy the rich and varied local gastronomy: cheeses, cider, Calvados, apple juice, jams, foie gras… Walks in the middle of the valleys and preserved villages await you.

In the heart of the Normandy countryside, come and explore the cider route to taste all the apple products (10 min), visit the cheese villages: Camembert (15 min), Livarot (10 min) and see over the hedges of the stud farms, mares galloping with their foals.
20 minutes from the Mont-Ormel Memorial (end of the Battle of Normandy in August 1944), 45 minutes from the Caen Memorial and 1 hour from the landing beaches and 25 minutes from the Château de Falaise where William the Conqueror was born. You'll have the opportunity to explore the history of Normandy.
Not far from seaside resorts such as Cabourg (45 minutes) and Deauville (55 minutes), young and old will appreciate the sweetness of the sea air.

On the ground floor:
Composed of a large living room separated into three parts with a comfortable cathedral living room having stunning panoramic views of the valley to relax, read or simply enjoy the view, a TV lounge in an intermediate room and a room with a stove in a large fireplace;
a fully equipped and very functional kitchen to concoct delicious meals;
a bathroom with shower, toilet and washer-dryer.

Upstairs:
Distributed by a nice antique wooden staircase. It has about twenty steps that the little ones will have to go down under the supervision of their parents. It consists of a landing for storing suitcases and clothes and then 2 adjoining bedrooms, the first of which is composed of 3 single beds and the second of a 140 double bed. Both bedrooms are separated by an opaque curtain.

The garden:
Parking for 3 cars. The garden is completely fenced for children under parental supervision.
The property is surrounded by meadows. Our only neighbors are Charolais cows with their little calves.
A barbecue is located in the middle of the garden for moments of sharing with friends (from June until the end of September).
Garden furniture will be at your disposal (from June to the end of September) to enjoy the view outdoors.
