My name is Alina and I come from Hamburg. In 2016 I got married on this island. We loved it so much that we decided to purchase a house in November 2019, which we fondly call: Aeroe Diaries.

About the house: the part of the house where you would be staying is from 1795 and well maintained. The house is a gem and we are constantly working on it to bring it to its best form.

We have a huge garden, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 big kitchen with a cozy dining area. You can rent e-bikes from us.

The space
You have your own private bathroom, own kitchen, own living room, and all the bedrooms and beds mentioned above with which if you are coming in a bigger group, 9 people already have nice sleeping beds. If there are more people which will be joining in, you can always ask us and we can see what we can do.

We are surrounded by beautiful mustard and wheat fields. If you get lucky we will also have horses in the backyard.

The house is in a very cozy location with a 2400 sq. m. of garden area where you can do anything you want: enjoy a sunny day or grill with your friends.

As I and my husband are both YouTube creators, we know how important internet can be for your work. That's why you also have access to strong WiFi coverage at our place, so that you can still keep on doing your work in peace.

Guests also get access to their own Netflix profile which they can use during their stay at Aeroe Diaries

There is a playground for children close to our house. We are 10 minutes walking distance from Søbygård (castle) and a historic windmill, Vester Mølle.

We also have a swimming beach nearby which is just 5 minutes away by bike.

For more videos and photographs, you can visit “Aeroe Diaries” on YouTube,.

Guest access
The entire white side of the house is yours, with your own entrance, toilet, bathroom, kitchen, garden, living room, and bedrooms. You can park your car towards the red side of the house. The property is big, so a few cars wouldn't be an issue at all.

Other things to note
As the house has a history of almost 200 years, the roof is lower than in modern houses. At the beams the height is 1.90m, otherwise, the height is 2.00 m. This is also where the charm of the house lies. In winters, these special low Danish ceilings keep the house warmer for a longer time, when the chimney oven or the central heating is turned on.

Hi! I'm Alina, :) I grew up in Hamburg and moved to Denmark many years ago. After getting married on the island of Ærø - 10 years ago, I fell in love with the island and decided to move someday. Denmark has been home ever since. Today, I host two houses here and enjoy creating calm, welcoming places for guests. Alongside hosting, I also consult and support people who want to move from Germany to Denmark, guiding them through the entire process. Just write to me!
