This recently built gorgeous little house was inspired by lodges that we've visited in East Africa. It is an oasis & a destination of peacefulness and romance! With a gourmet kitchen, surrounding gardens, queensize canopy bed, Japanese soaking tub, walk-in shower, zippy WIFI, comfy workspace, & 65" smart TV with Netflix & Prime you may never want to leave! Enhanced cleaning is performed between guests. Located at the end of a rural cul-de-sac and walking distance to beautiful Lake Hodges..

The space
This beautiful little home is a stand alone, located behind our main house.
It is filled with handmade touches and everything to try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. "Finch Hatton", as the little cabin is called, is next level beautiful!

It is surrounded by vegetable gardens with organic fruits and veggies...Your host is a retired personal chef and would happy to provide meals for you for an additional cost if you just want to tuck in and be pampered with a delicious meal presented at your door or served to you in the garden!

...15 minutes from the San Diego Zoo's Safari Park, 30 minutes drive to the beach and 5 minutes from Stone Brewery, Felicita Park, Kit Carson Park and Lake Hodges. Local wineries in Highland Valley Wine Country are a scenic half hour drive away...But you may find that this little cabin is a destination all on its own, so rather than go anywhere you might just want to settle in, relax and unwind.

Our neighborhood is quiet with a rural feel, there is no public transport close by and no restaurants or shopping to walk to...but lots of hiking paths and a beautiful nearby lake.
Once you are off of the main street please drive slowly down our roads, as we are in a "traffic calmed neighborhood"...especially please drive very carefully through our cul del sac...
