Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Cutest cottage with lake and mountain views near South Fork Reservoir in Elko County Nevada. Enjoy the outdoors with a large deck, covered patio, barbecue, trees and hot tub. A one minute drive to Jet Ski Beach. At South Fork you can fish, swim and boat. A 12 mile drive to groceries in Spring Creek and 18 miles from Elko. Plenty of room to park multiple vehicles and trailers. A great base camp for hunting, playing, or business.

The space
Short term rentals are hard to find in this area. Ours is in a great location. Close to Elko and Spring Creek but away from the hustle and bustle. You will want to be sitting outside every night at sunset. The covered patio makes that possible in varied weather. There are two bedrooms, and a pull out couch. Lots of closet storage. One bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Small washer/dryer combo. Plenty of towels for indoor and outdoor activities. The hot tub is right on the deck. That's where I would want to enjoy the sunset!

Other things to note
Several people have asked about the coffee maker: we have a standard coffee pot with a reusable filter. You provide your own coffee.

They have recently paved more of the road around South Fork which makes travel more convenient. The road in front of the cottage is a maintained dirt road with local traffic only. Be sure to wave when you pass another vehicle; it's the local way.

We love playing on the water and that is what attracted us to South Fork Reservoir in Nevada with it's amazing lake and mountain views. Our family of 5 can be difficult to fit into a hotel room so we frequently use vacation rentals when we travel. I have had great experiences with rentals from San Diego, CA to Niagara, NY and even with international travel to Chile. I appreciate having the use of a kitchen and room to spread out for a bargain price. I also enjoy vacation rentals when traveling with other families or couples. We put 15 people in a great house by Disneyland and have fun memories of that trip! Whereas the cabin we rented on the Mississippi river was cool, but it needed more comfortable furniture.... We have taken our travel experiences, good and bad, and tried to create comfortable rentals that we want to spend time in too. A place you want to bring your friends and family.
