sheltered beach almost 2 km long and 15 m wide, making it Vigo’s biggest
beach.
With its fine white sand and surrounded by beautiful pine trees, Playa Samil
is a Blue Flag beach that is very well cared for and cleaned daily in the
summer. At one end, there are municipal sports facilities that can easily be
accessed by tourists.
An excellent promenade runs all the way along the beach, with magnificent
views of Vigo’s estuary, particularly the Morrazo Peninsula and the Cíes
