The Clatsop Plains Guest Suite is located just north of Gearhart in a private home perched atop a ridge. It has its own private entrance and private patio with covered hot tub. Your view overlooks 80 acres of greenspace and rolling dunes. Elk frequent the area and have been known to hop our back fence. We are nestled between Sunset Beach and Del Rey Beach. Both are a five-minute drive away. It is perfect hub for close by trips to historic parks, hiking trails, museums, brew pubs, and more.

Location

Clatsop County, Oregon, United States

Located in the historically rich area created by dunes and wetlands tucked between the ocean and the coast range. The Clatsop Plains Guest Suite is just minutes away from all that the north coast has to offer.

A short car ride leads to the beach where you can dip your toes in the ocean, look for shells, and watch the sunset.

The quaint town of Gearhart and the popular stores and restaurants of Seaside are just minutes away. Immerse yourself in the rich history by visiting nearby Fort Stevens State Park, Battery Russell, and Lewis and Clark National Park.

A 20-minute drive to the north will take you to the port city of Astoria. It is the oldest city in Oregon and noted as the first American settlement west of the Rocky Mountains . Visit the Columbia River Maritime Museum. Climb the 164 steps to the top of the Astoria Column. Look for the Goonie House, or discover your favorite microbrewery. It’s all waiting for you.
