A modern apartment for max. 2 people in a central location with Traunstein views and free Netflix.
Our approx. 40 m² completely renovated apartment, newly furnished with a lot of love for detail and all amenities, should be like a second home for your short or longer stay, where you can feel comfortable and relax. There is a bedroom/living room with double bed, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen.

The space
Take a vacation in the Gmundner Villa like the famous composer Carl Goldmark (1830-1915), who once spent the summer months here.
Thanks to the thick brick walls, no air conditioning is needed; natural and pleasant freshness in summer is thus ensured.
A private entrance area with a key box allows you to check in without contact. Our apartment 2 is in a quiet location and only an 8-minute walk from the center/Traunsee. You can do everything quickly and easily on foot or by car for your daily needs. A bakery with breakfast, restaurants, shops, dry cleaners, post office and Gmund's sights are within walking distance.
About 100 m from the apartment is the nearest swimming facility in the Traun; 15 minutes away is the Traunsee swimming area Weyer as well as the beach on Lake Traunsee, which is 30 minutes away. If you prefer to take the bus to the swimming areas, you will find the nearest bus stop right in front of the apartment, or you can ride your bike on the beautiful Traun promenade.
If you prefer to walk, the beautiful Gmundner Glücksplatz is ideal for a walk. Via the Goldmarkstiege you can walk to the Kalvarienberg (Glücksplatz) in 5 minutes with beautiful views over the entire lake and the Traunstein. For a longer walk, about 25 minutes, a trip to beautiful Orth Castle is a good idea.
If you are seized by wanderlust, there are many mountains available for hiking, but also for mountain biking. By cable car (distance: 30 minutes) you can go up to the Grünberg, which offers a unique nature experience at the top of the mountain: the treetop trail.

Public parking and a bus stop are in the immediate vicinity to the apartment.
