Owl in the Oak Treehouse was renovated in January to give our guests a completely modern experience while maintaining the uniqueness and charm of a real treehouse overlooking a small stream in a quiet valley.

The treehouse is secluded more than 300 feet from the closest house. In the winter, several neighborhood homes are visible from the treehouse, but summer foliage cloaks the treehouse in almost total privacy.

The main floor of the treehouse is 120 square feet and has a sitting area, bathroom, and kitchenette. There is also a small writing desk that folds out of the way when not in use.

The 50-square-foot sleeping loft is accessed via ladder and gives guests some of the best views of the forest and stream.

The kitchenette features a sink, minifridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker.

To help our guests fully immerse themselves in nature, there is no television and the windows are uncovered for a panoramic forest view.

The small bathroom has a composting toilet and a shower. Towels, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are included.

Outside the treehouse is a sitting area with stunning views out over the forest and down to a small stream 30 feet below!
