Villa Hidden Jewel in Bali is just that – a beautiful luxury 10 person boutique villa, hidden away in a beautiful oasis of green rice terraces. From the moment you enter through the traditional Balinese gateway into the villa, your pulse seems to slow down and the knots in your shoulders magically melt away.

​A cooking service and butler service will be at your disposal during your stay (free of charge) so you can relax and enjoy.

The space
The more than 250m2 living grounds offer freedom and flexibility, with sun loungers arranged around the infinity pool. You dine at the robust 10-person teak table that is situated in such a way that you can enjoy the views. The lounge is the ideal place to unwind, sinking into the lounge cushions and processing all the impressions that this villa and beautiful Bali have given you.

Villa Hidden Jewel comprises five bedrooms (3 bedrooms with a king bed and 2 connecting rooms with bunk beds for kids), 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a dining area. All with a view on the rice fields.

​A chef will be at your disposal during your stay. If desired, 3 times a day, Western or Indonesian, will be cooked for you (free of charge, you only pay for the groceries of the food you want to eat) . Our hostess will take care of the grocery shopping (local prices) and your meals will be prepared and served to you.

We offer several tours and activities which can be arranged from the villa:

Parking is available. The whole villa is yours to enjoy.

Other things to note
Our staff knows that privacy is very important to you and is therefore only available in the background. They do everything to take care of you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you want more privacy, feel free to give them a day or afternoon off.

For kids we have a baby bed and chair available and on request a pool fence. We also have some toys in the villa for your kids to use.

Please note we charge a Service fee of IDR 50k per day (2,8 euro / 3 usd per day) for unlimited spring water, basic kitchen needs (salt and pepper) and fuel for our staff to do your grocery shopping. This can be paid in cash in the villa.

We have a selection of books in different languages which you can read.

You cannot drink water from the tap in Bali. We have mineral water available in the villa

We are amongst the midst of nature in the rice terraces with no shops and restaurants in walking distance. Our staff will take care of grocery shopping and cooking for you.

The city of Amlapura is a 5-10 minute ride away. Local restaurants (warungs, which have great food) are a 2- 5 minute ride from the villa. We can provide scooters and/or drivers on request or our staff can arrange delivery of food from one of the restaurants.

Virgin Beach or also called Pantai Pasir Putih (we think one of the most beautiful beaches in Bali, with nice little restaurants to have lunch) is about a 10-15 minute ride away from the villa. On the beach they have beach beds and umbrella's available (usually free of charge if you have a drink or some food in the restaurant).

As we are in the middle of nature and you have rice fields directly in front of the villa, you hear the sounds of animals in the rice fields and forrest around the villa. For example grashoppers, frogs, chicken, gecko, rooster, cow.

The villa is designed very openly and little bugs, ants and/or insects can be around as we are in the middle of nature. If you need we have insecticide available in the villa.

Sometimes the locals in the area have a ceremony or private gathering which you can hear in the villa. Your staff is from the area. If ceremonies take place in the village or near the villa while you are here, they will be happy to bring you along, just ask. It's a unique opportunity to experience the real Bali, away from any tourists

The views are incredible and during your stay you can often see villagers farming their fields below which is a beautiful scene.

There’s a hammock available for you to chill out and enjoy the views.

Our staff can make you a really nice floating breakfast in the pool if you wish.

We have excellent Free WIFI available in the villa. You can work, stream video or make conference calls.
